The jackal looks sexy
Did anyone notice how all the kills were staged so the enemies always had enough life to die on a single hit and flied straight? Also it seems the throwing knifes deal only a measly 375 hit points of damage.
Ooh, 375 damage per hit, they'll compliment the stealth spinfusor well.
If you can place stickies on teammates the jackal is going to be awesome.
If you can place stickies on teammates the jackal is going to be awesome.
You can already with the Arx Buster.
You can already with the Arx Buster.
But the Arx Buster has timed detonations. Imagine covering a Pathfinder in jackal stickies and detonating them just as he grabs the flag.
They said pack so I assume you can buy all the weapons+the skins in a bundle and seeing as I main Infiltrator it looks like it's time to spend dosh. [editline]26th March 2012[/editline] Also the Assassin skin uses a hidden dagger for its melee and the Mercenary looks like the DOOM guy. Awesome.
I hope they lower the damage of the jackal(500 seems alot IMO), otherwise I don't think we'll see many raiders with ARX busters.
But the Arx Buster has timed detonations. Imagine covering a Pathfinder in jackal stickies and detonating them just as he grabs the flag.
I'm sure the grenades still behave the same.
I'm sure the grenades still behave the same.
What are you talking about?
I hope they lower the damage of the jackal(500 seems alot IMO), otherwise I don't think we'll see many raiders with ARX busters.
Why? That thing looks a lot harder to use in combat than the ARX buster and you don't get the damage tanking the raider gets as an infiltrator.
What are you talking about?
Arx Buster and Jackal grenades are the same, only the Jackal's are not timed. It wouldn't make sense for the Arx to stick to teammates and the Jackal not to.
only a measly 375 hit points of damage.
hahaha this is a joke right? it's exactly the same as the nova blaster yet I hear people whine about that being OP every time I go sentinel.
I'm picturing Kamikaze PTH. Disrupting the enemy defense like a badass.
Compulsively bought the technican during a CTF today. No regrets.
The new skins are terribad looking. For real, as in Tribes:Ascend you rank up, I imagined new skins as high-grade infiltrator armors, like basic ones but way more menaceous, armored, with a cape, a hood and badges and accessories and shit like this that screams "I'm a liutanant not a simple soldier".. But no, we get Han Solo with the Doom guy helm and a Sith lord from japan. /rant
The new skins are terribad looking.
The sleeveless one should increase damage taken on temple ruins, and decrease on katabatic for the lulz.
hahaha this is a joke right? it's exactly the same as the nova blaster yet I hear people whine about that being OP every time I go sentinel.
These people must suck or you can actually aim unlike them. Sentinels hardly hit me with the nova blaster while I fill them up with smg bullets (Or if they're unlucky, they'll get heavy spinfusor'ed)
Not sure about the knife and the smoke grenade, but the jackal is going to be sweet for baits.
hey guys. I like this game.
These people must suck or you can actually aim unlike them. Sentinels hardly hit me with the nova blaster while I fill them up with smg bullets (Or if they're unlucky, they'll get heavy spinfusor'ed)
ok, bad anecdote. but surely the nova blaster would be OP if it was more powerful, how are the knives any different?
Any tips for reaching 200 sanics? I can't even ski very fast as pathfinder.
Any tips for reaching 200 sanics? I can't even ski very fast as pathfinder.
Use your impact nitrons. [editline]26th March 2012[/editline]
Compulsively bought the technican during a CTF today. No regrets.
I compulsively bought the brute, then made back all the xp the same day by getting the multikill/grenade kill badges with fractals. :v:
I managed to pull off a Double Road Kill with Grav Cycle, mind these weren't stationary targets either. :> [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596965975037987193/96A65745BEC2D5060FC8C58C2B9B3331EDC8135A/[/t]
A variant of the ARX Buster with remote detonation
EVERY CENT OF MY MONEY
didnt like the skins...
That jackal looks like it should replace the techs thumper instead. As techs are used more for defense than infiltrators.
I wonder if the throwing knives are a primary or a secondary. I would buy the shit out of them if they were a secondary.
Arx Buster and Jackal grenades are the same, only the Jackal's are not timed. It wouldn't make sense for the Arx to stick to teammates and the Jackal not to.
Exactly. When did I ever say you couldn't do that?
Im more worry about the HUGE influx of jammin Raiders in every generator. Is going to be imposible for a few weeks to blow shit up.
I'm at 30k exp, I main raider and I'm seriously thinking on getting the jammer pack I play offensively most of the time, it would be worth it or i should stick to the shield? also which perks should I get?
