I play mainly soldier and enjoy flag-capping/generator-destroying offense gameplay.

you're aware "flag capping and gen destroying" is literally ALL offensive play right
anyway i'd usually reccomend the bolt launcher for everyone's first weapon but if you only play soldier then get the spinfusor

go in the enemy infil filled room by the flug (your flugroom)
spam all your fractals pick up ammo packs and spam more
then go to inventory thingy and repeat
You can maintain a super disco party by the flag and its nearby rooms the entire match and also you are responsible for gen defense which isnt hard
this may not protect the flag but you will oblierate the 10,000 infils that always end up in that room
i'm pretty ass at tech and inf, i regret buying them, i should've just saved up for mirv or bolt launcher.

Why you shouldn't hold down the ski key while falling/using the jetpack?
And whicch perk should I get for raider, potential energy or looter?
i thought they changed it so you could hold down ski while jetpacking/falling and it won't lose speed?
It seems that most of the time, my projectiles will explode directly beneath an enemy, but they take no damage. Is the hit detection fucked up, or am I doing it wrong?

they're probably out of range of the splash damage.

Should I buy the last upgrade for Survivalist that gives me more energy or just buy Potential Energy? I'm using the Brute with the Heavy Shield pack but which one is more efficient for keeping the shield up?
I've never used Potential Energy and I wanna know if it's worth it before I spend valuable exp that I could be saving for final Survivalist.
I find survivalist fully upgraded very useful on all my combat classes, but Potential Energy fully upgraded also seems very useful.
I made an alt and got it to level 6 to see how referrals work
I made 20k in the process with my alt, so its definitely slower than just playing with your main, but it is fun to get 30 roadkills in a row because no one knows how to handle shrikes at that low level.
Drove the tank into the generator tunnel on Katabatic and road killed 3 people on the first run down the tunnel and managed to kill another near the generator and got kill credit for knocking 2 into the bottom less pit.
The tank was then proceeded to be raped by Infiltrators with Jackals.
I had a dream that the vehicles no longer road-killed, it was awesome.
