Tribes: Ascend v2: I went slow once and it was awful - Games

Just got the Eagle pistol, and man does it ever compliment the spinfusor. I'm thinking about running the assault rifle AND the pistol just for the hell of it.

somebody said this earlier and i agree with it completely "the thing with the spinfusor is that, once you get it, you're kinda railroaded into getting the pistol too otherwise you're stuck with the spinfusor and a worse version of the spinfusor with an arc"

Weapons reload automatically after 4 seconds after not being selected, so you start with the thumper DX, switch to the spinfusor, than after a few shots switch back to the thumper. Also, the thumper does 52 more damage against the generator.

I reckon stock soldier is better for chasing, the AR is amazing for such a thing

Can anyone convince me that Rage isn't useless? I've never seen it activate on my PTH.

Must be amazing. I mainly play Soldier now, but I like switching to Pathfinder, Tech and Doombringer sometimes, PE seems useful for classes who can take some abuse (so not Path). Not sure if more useful than Survivalist though.

Arx may be possible, though extremely difficult, since you would have to fly in at speed to keep from hovering upwards, and then you would have to stop before you hit the wall once you got inside.

Not sure if more useful than Survivalist though.[/QUOTE] They don't work together, damage to shields doesn't give you energy back, you need to be good at micro'ing the shield pack to use it to it's full potential. But when you can PE is good for Raider. Survivalist is a perk which is more of an equip and forget perk, and it's more useful for more classes than PE is. I'd personally go with Survivalist, unless you main Raider.
