Take the Tech, infiltrator and the jugger, those classes without any unlock are very hard to master (maybe not the jugger at all, but takes time to lear the angle when you are trying to stop the cappers) The come from up-very hard to use to Op and very easy to use. They need to make a midpoint to have a better learning curve.

So I bought Brute yesterday. 5 blueplates and 2 classic sprees in one of the first games I played with him, and then my first ultra/teamkill after that. Why does everyone hate the Brute, again?

Oh man, just got my first ultra kill. It was an orbital strike directly after two of my teammates used orbital strikes. I guess they accounted for the possibility that we would use two orbital strikes, but three? That's just ridiculous! It was great though, it was in the last few seconds of the match. If I hadn't used it, they would've capped and the game would've gone into overtime. The game ended before it finished showing me all of my accolades.

So, it says the game is releasing on April 12. Does that mean anything?

Slightly off topic, but I held a mini-contest where the person who wrote the best song about lemons got gifted a copy of L4D2 a long time ago. I'm thinking about grabbing 2 1-TB drives. Should I just go with the 1TB F-3 Spinpoints or the 2TB 5400RPM ones. I think I should get the 2TB ones just because, higher density is faster speeds, and more space is always good. Any other recommendations for recording. Note: I currently record to an older 500GB Western Digital Blue with write speeds of 70MB/s. I want to be able to record at 60fps though.

Just decided to save up the 18k for Raider. Seems fun, struggling to find the proper role, but hopefully I'll start to get used to it. The Arx is pretty fun to blow people up with.

I could have beaten that comp player when I played if I was using my keyboard and mouse. He had the advantage because of that, I still got 45k to his 65k on one map. Next highest player was like 23k.

this game is hard

This is probably asked regularly but I can't be bothered trying to find a post where it was answered. To anyone who has made an in-game purchase, and received VIP as a result, is it worth it? I've played 50 hours (or at least that's what's recorded in my profile, there may be unrecorded hours since I have been playing since early December/late November 2011, before any profile system was implemented) and I'm only a rank 22 (nearly 23), and I assume ranking up only becomes more and more of a grind as you progress. The reason I ask is because I have $27 in my bank, however due to my current financial situation this is actually a lot of money to me, so a $10 transaction is a lot also. If I was to essentially "buy" VIP, I would want to to be absolutely worth every cent. So if anyone can help me out by simply telling me if it really is worth it in the long run it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps too.

When I render it down to MP4 for upload its fine. I also already have a licence for Dxtory. A 23 minute game is like 42 GB, which isn't bad for recording. If I want to not resize it, aka 1600x1000 I would be doubling my resolution. If I can do that I might as well jump to 1728*1080, then I could have 1080p video.
