I'm having a lot of fun playing as Pathfinder.
Just finished playing tribes, Dopefish was supposedly on the server I was playing on, I killed him twice. I should keep an eye out to how you guys :v:
Must be an American thing with the SEN's, there's hardly any on EU London.
I see like... maybe one sentinel a game? I've never even been killed by one.
First time I've ever played, how'd I do? [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/541798647254871430/26AABBABA785D33FCCD5338DFCE5B665EADB9663/[/t] [editline]e[/editline] Second game [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/541798647255003208/E54D687FCA3AE5C58A9E2A707E8628C0168F51AB/[/t]
Incredibly averagely

So what exactly are naked spawns? I've been seeing a lot of them.
I just had an epiphany Decided to go SEN, although i hate it and i'm useless with it...but this time, i changed my mindset and did really good, stopped ALOT flag runners. After 4 rounds with more than 15 kills, i can say that SEN is real killer class against light/medium classes... I'm gonna start spending some xp on it...just remember guys, BE POLITE, BE EFFICIENT, HAVE A PLAN TO KILL EVERYONE YOU MEET
So what exactly are naked spawns? I've been seeing a lot of them.
Naked spawns are when you start without your chosen loadout. You will start with a weapon but to get your actual loadout you will have to seek out an inventory station to get it. It is a way to make the generator in CTF matches way more important and critical to defend than a regular match of CTF.
Sooo I'm thinking of buying the Eagle Pistol, worth it?
Sooo I'm thinking of buying the Eagle Pistol, worth it?
Ditched sentinel and bought eagle pistol to complement spinfusor...it's ok, didn't get any kills yet, but it has great potential to dispose low (really) low health enemies
So I got hit by a Whiteout grenade, in panic I threw a random Spinfuser Disk as Jug. Result. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596967735241714407/25AD42DEE2B3BEC22B14119111B3520EC63101B4/[/t] Nearly at Tears man.
Just curious if have the pilot perk maxed and you fly a shrike head on in to another shrike what happens? Do you get ejected out of the wreck get a kill and survive or do you just die.

so i was browsing the tribes wiki and aws checking the fractal grenade and it says: type: thrown disco :v:
get ejected out of the wreck get a kill and survive
This.
I see like... maybe one sentinel a game? I've never even been killed by one.
I sometimes use sentinel. People don't usually expect them, and early on it's quite hard to kill anyone. But it is awfully satisfying to snipe someone from the other side of the map, or while skiing.
What is better (for pathfinder), energy recharge or thrust? And im not entirely sure what the difference is. I know thrust can spend all energy and get a sudden boost, but thats only so useful. One upgrade is "Upgrade 2: Increased thrust potency. ", what exactly does that mean? And is the light assault rifle worth getting instead of the shotgun?

Also, the LAR is a good chasing weapon if you can aim, it works at every range but isn't as effective up close like the shotgun.
Just curious if have the pilot perk maxed and you fly a shrike head on in to another shrike what happens? Getting the kill would depend if that Shrike pilot doesn't have the Pilot perk.

And is the light assault rifle worth getting instead of the shotgun?
Thrust is great for flag chasing. I also use it to cap, it gives a great speed boost if you time your energy to be full a few seconds prior to grabbing the flag (then use the thrust, the fatties never get shots on me) Also another advantage is unexpected acceleration. Most people can predict where you'll be in a few seconds if you're going at a constant speed and using hills, allowing them to shoot you. If you suddenly accelerate, not only do you get further from anyone chasing you but it makes it hard for them to get a shot on you for a few seconds as they subconsciously recalculate where to shoot Use it wisely though or you might end up with no energy to get over hills
Dunno what's going on, but since the last update my game keeps locking up for 3-4 seconds at a time every few minutes

But that might be because I can still hit people with it at 120 ping on the air combat servers. Also best combination for Air Combat Server. Bolt Launcher Shotgun Safe fall (fully upgraded) Pilot (Fully upgraded)
Ugh, I blame the game's servers for not letting me log in, worked fine this morning.
I like everything except free vehicles. Isn't it lame that destroying vehicles doesn't matter because they can come right back?
VAG
Shrike dogfights are awesome *VHEEEEEE!*
I just wish that some of the vehicles weren't mouse controlled.
I just wish that some of the vehicles weren't mouse controlled.
Beowulf can be controlled with WASD [editline]13th April 2012[/editline] Gotta love fractals on Sunstar
I just wish that some of the vehicles weren't mouse controlled.
I think Sam said you could inverse mouse controls on the aircraft thingy...
