Tribes: Ascend v2: I went slow once and it was awful - Games

I just got the obsidian Flag Defender badge and the gold Operator badge in the same kill when I roadkilled the flag carrier. I got almost 8000xp at the end of the round.

i feel like technician is my calling. i am slowly getting better with the smg, i'm landing about 60% of my shots now.

After upgrading the Repair Tool to the max you're just SO useful. Unless you are only sitting in a generator room. Repairing turrets and radars is also important.

Finished my first match, ran with the flag for 15 minutes on DM and then everyone in the enemy team left...

Not really, they put you in games with people around the same rank as you. You can start with Team Deathmatch, where you don't have to focus on the flag as much, and you can focus on learning the controls/skiing. [editline]14th April 2012[/editline] Also you should probably start using soldier/pathfinder, and wait until you get comfortable with those before buying/unlocking more classes.

Capture and Hold, Sentinel Nova Blaster only. Clearly how the game was meant to be played. Also, said "fuck it" to new weapons and unlocked Safety Third + bunch of upgrades. I guess I'll just gibe Hi-Rez some money when Brute update comes out, they deserve it.

Welp, my last 5 games have descended into: Enemy team destroys our generator and camps there. My team destroys enemy generator and camps there. I cap the enemy flag about 5 times before anyone notices. one guy on the enemy team caps my flag about 5 times. Both teams return to bases and rebuild. Repeat.

There needs to be a secret code which makes fractals multicolored. Blue beams, green beams, red beams, yellow beams. A true disco.

team colored fractals would be helpful..

And team coloured mirvs and mortars too.

Ugh this is awful. I bought gold and got banned on Wednesday and I haven't even gotten so much as a word from support. And according to my bank the transaction cleared too.

My Tribes won't take screenshots when I press F12, which I am told is the screenshot button. Any ideas? Also, that CTF map that looks like hell, with all the volcanoes and red stuff, is the easiest map ever for gener-hater as Infiltrator. Nobody ever uses the free-jetpack lifts, so you can just hide in there to recharge your stealth, using your jetpack to stay floating out of sight. Then you come out of that, stab one of them and steal their ammo for more explosives. I had their generator down 90% of the match I was just in, even with 3 people constantly trying to fix it and kill me.
