Beagles light and medium armor is pretty badass but heavy classes are kinda lame, for the other side Sandrakers light and medium classes looks like girls but heavies are very damn cool.

In practice, the longer the match the more XP you get, doesn't matter if you're on the top or bottom of the scoreboard.
Also play at least once a day, effortless 1200XP for "First win of the day" when you're on a good team is always nice

You know, I am just goofing around on Air Combat servers with other people and at the end of the round I get around 1100 experience. :v:

Hell, we even had Grav Cycle races.

I'm sloooowly getting better at shrikes, roadkilling flag carriers is best thing ever.

Also, does anyone else get a lag spike when throwing a grenade? It's annoying as hell.

Everything gives you XP. But element #1 is time spend in game.

For example. I spend around 30 minutes on this match (I'm proud of the xp score)

Um, you did have 100% inheritance on the chaingun. That is why it was a great chasing weapon.

The effect of inheritance is most noticeable on lower speed projectiles where you can cause large changes to their path with slight movements. Such as when sniping turrets with a spinfusor, if you move sideways while aiming you can't aim right at it.

Automatics need higher inheritance, otherwise your projectiles all basically spawn 30 feet behind you when going 200 sanic making it a pain in the ass to lead a flag carrier.

Hell 100% inheritance on automatics would buff chasing and nerf dueling with automatics.

It would also mean that the throwing knifes, Nova Blaster, SN7, and any other semi-auto projectile weapons would be useable for chasing, unlike now where it is impossible to hit stuff with the Nova Blaster if you are going more then 140 sanic.

Note: Current inheritance on automatics and semi-automatic is 20%, all other weapons are %50.

In older Tribes games the inheritance was 75% on the disc.

I would advise playing plenty of pathfinder as there are a lot of badges he can earn.

I would also advise joining a aircombat server just so you can get the obsidian speed badge by jumping out of a shrike.

If you don't mind being greedy then not upgrading things and instead just using orbital strikes is a good way to earn badges.
On that note upgrading base assets should increase your score.
This way you lose less of the bonus exp you get.

Yeah its awesome. Somehow I get more kills with it than with the brute's spinfusor, which is supposed to be more powerfull.

I am getting BSOD's wile playing Tribes Ascend. Really annoying as fuck!

I've played this game a fair amount, but I have yet to break 300km/h ski. I've tried jumping out of a shrike onto a downward slope, boosting with a nitron but I can never get speeds like this. Am I missing something?
