DMB without super heavy is up. Any other perk I should get for him?
super heavy is a must in my opinion
super heavy is a must in my opinion
Of course it is, Im very mediocre without the perk and Im making my way for 18000 xp.
Got an ingame text on the screen that the finals of some tournament were about to begin, awesome esports support from hi-rez.
Because Halo now involves going 300 sanics per hour?
300 per hour sounds painfully slow.
I got like 60k xp now, should i save up for the LAR, or buy the explosive nitron? Or should i not buy any of them, and wait for a possible update? Agree for LAR, disagree for nitron, zing for wait
What are the speed differences between light and medium classes?
What are the speed differences between light and medium classes?
lights go ~300 mediums go ~250 heavies go ~180 in my experience
I cant get the going fast obsidian badge, help
I cant get the going fast obsidian badge, help
Join a "free shrikes" server, use boost, eject from vehicle, use nitrons
get LAR explosive nitron is shit unless you play arena a lot and waiting is pointless you can just get more exp again.
explosive impact are great for cah too.
Is there some faster or easier way to get experience that I don't know about? I end with with maybe a few hundred points each game, a few more with some badges. What other things factor into xp? Kills or objectives?
Because Halo now involves going 300 sanics per hour?
Isn't sanics a unitless measure?
Join to the free shrikes server, the matches last a long there and xp depends mostly on how long the match is You will get 1000 xp free without doing anything
So the exp is just time and not killing? well that explain everything.
http://www.tribesascendwiki.com/XP not sure if that formula is correct, but yea most of ur xp is from the match time
http://www.tribesascendwiki.com/XP not sure if that formula is correct, but yea most of ur xp is from the match time
So in a nutshell, killing people doesn't give you xp? You only need to be in the first places of the rank?
So in a nutshell, killing people doesn't give you xp? You only need to be in the first places of the rank?
It do gives you xp But you get more xp from how long the match is
They REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY need to shorten the range on Spinfusers. As it currently stands, a single disk can cover like 3/4 the length of Raindance before it explodes. Brutes can sit on the hills so far away that the game doesn't even fucking render them. They can sit miles away and reduce your turrets and sensors to rubble. Why
I guess we better shorten every weapon then. Juggs can sit miles away and bombard a base. Tanks can do that too. And pretty much every class. Let's just make them all explode after 100 feet. Or let's not because that would be really damn annoying. Maybe you and your teams should just learn to address problems. Get a sentinel, get a tank, get a shrike, send a soldier after people who are shooting your base from afar.
Join a "free shrikes" server, use boost, eject from vehicle, use nitrons
both of the free shrike servers are full all the time this is stupid
So the diamond sword betrayed the blood eagle or what? I actually don't know anything about the story behind tribes, I just thought DS looks more awesome so I picked them.
From what I can gather, after decades upon decades of not picking a side in tribal warfare (according to the timeline), the Diamond Sword have taken it upon themselves to destroy the tribes, which explains the DS announcer saying "For humanity to rise the wilderzone must fall!".
I guess trying to play Ascend defensively is playing it incorrectly. My mistake. I should have realized that attacking a base needs to be so easy that a half-brained monkey could do it. I'm sorry.
You should be sorry, but not for the reason you think. You should be sorry for not being able to comprehend what I'm saying. Attacking a base from long range is a tactic and an important game mechanic. Counter tactics are also an important mechanic. When a soldier or jugg is shooting your base from afar that gives your team a problem to address. Without these extra problems to deal with player groups become more clumped as more people are doing the same thing. Securing your perimeter is playing defensively and is important for maintaining base defenses. Attacking the enemy base isn't easy so long as the team is competent and able to defend against long range attackers with sentinels, tanks, shrikes, bikes, pathfinders, soldiers, or juggernauts. There are many ways to deal with it.

Say some guy starts blasting a turret with his heavy spinfusor from far in the distance. You have to go out of your way to go over and get him, leaving your flag/gen/whatever you were defending more vulnerable. When you finally get there, you wail on the guy with your smg, hes a fatty of course so it takes fucking ages as he tries to escape. Once he's finally gone, you go all the way back to your base to repair the damage. Within seconds of getting things up and running, the asshole has respawned and sauntered right back where he was and blasts the base again, making the entire exercise futile. It's literally an impossible battle against a dogged attacker, because he has nothing to lose.

If someone is shooting you from a hill that means he is sitting and any player can go up over 140 sanics and get ride of the heavy, pathfinder or soldier trying to destroy the base. Or maybe they need to remove heavies, dont you agree?
Awesome idea: every base has a 'force field projector' that when active causes any projectiles traveling within roughly turret range of the base to expire early.
That is the moment when you send a soldier or a pathfinder with bolt launcher to deal with the fattie.
implying some idiot in a pub match is actually going to do something like that? lol I could be that guy, and just counter-harass the culprit the rest of the game, but that's just as unfun as the last situation so what's the point.
Oh that's just fantastic. I finally got a reply from support, and apparently I was banned for hacking, not any payment issue. I guess having internet problems and an intermittent high ping is hacking now. Ugh I wasted 10 bucks.
I have 8 slayer accolades now. I had none before I started playing on the Air Combat Server :v: I had 2 in 1 game earlier, with my only death being a suicide after I got the first to reset my killing spree.
