Basically, in Earthsiege/Starsiege (the orginal games in the tribes universe), Hercs are huge fucking mechs capable of wrecking some serious shit. The tribes tend not to use them, due to needing a higher industrial base than what they usually possess to supply them. However, it has been shown that Hercs can give the lightly armoured tribesmen serious problems. The Blood Eagles, being descended from the Imperial Knights sent in to conquer the tribes, used to possess Hercs; if it weren't for the supply problems they entailed, the Butchers could have annihilated everyone else with relative ease. Essentially, if Hercs are being mentioned in the game files, there will be some serious shit going down in the final game.

So, if Massive fucking mechs are coming in at some point, then what would the deploy cost be? People rarley ever scrape up 10,000 for an orbital strike, so how would you get a Herc? Also, my ingame name is MechNexus, I play on the Europe servers.
