Tribes: Ascend v2: I went slow once and it was awful - Games

Holy shit I am getting sick of teams that don't attack when they are down flags, even if that's to my advantage. Just ended a 5-0 game that lasted almost 15 minutes and I had 6 kills playing defense because their team didn't even try.

What the hell, I just got a great match as technician with 8 kills 5 deaths (good for me) 7k score and loads of accolades and got 200 xp.. what the fuck I got 2k xp last round with negative K/D and like 4k score. oh and we won both times.

Yeah base turrets have made me rage many a time... It's sad because you ignore them until they blow you right the fuck up. You're just going 200 some odd kmh and suddenly OH SHIT BASE TURRET LOLOLOLOL

Welp, I think i've gotten all the fun I could from this game without paying.

I think the game should add more incentive for people to repair/upgrade turrets. Say, if every time the turrets got a kill, the xp was divided up to the people who repaired/upgraded it, percentages based on how much they spent/repaired.

Killing a Sentinel with a slash to the face as you're surfing past him at 200 speed is the best feeling.

Speeding around as pathfinder, busting people up and returning my flag. most fun i have though is when i take the flag at over 200 sanics and zoom off into the distance. then i hit a wall.

Where did you slash them, on the map? Was it on a hill in Katabatic?

I've just reached rank 10 and I've noticed that the people who I play with now are around rank 12-20 instead of the regular <10. Are there brackets that determine who you get matched up with depending on your rank? (Like in World of Warcraft PvP)

So is the Spinfusor/Eagle Pistol combo better for the soldier than the stock AR/Thumper? I still have some gold and I might use it for that.

My game crashes when I try to start it. It get's to the splash screen on the desktop, then after a few seconds it says the exe has stopped responding. I tried validating files, reinstalling, and restarting computer (just to make sure) and no success. However, this only started happening after I installed the nvidia 295.51 beta driver. Anyone else having this issue, and are you using that driver?

If you use quick draw, sure you might be able to get off a shot faster, but it isn't really worth it.
