Pathfinder = Scout Sentinel = Sniper Infiltrator = Spy Soldier = Soldier Technician = Engineer Raider = Demoman Doombringer = Heavy (technically all the heavy classes are Heavy, but doombringer has a chain gun so it's the most similar of the lot) Completely unsimilar classes, no way to compare these to tf2 in any way ever at all

Pretty much every class based game derives their classes from the same archetypes (slow heavy hitters, stealthy class, speed class, tech class, etc.) so I can understand how you could compare the classes in tribes to classes in other games but the games are so different that I don't understand why you would. Soldier in both tribes and TF2 is the most general class, applicable in any situation. The pathfinder is more similar to a scout in actual use.
