I have never come up against an effective Raider. They are annoying, and a good distraction to give quick Pathfinders a chance to get the flag out from under me, but they never kill me- only jump about avoiding damage whilst spitting grenades everywhere but on/next to me.
Can some Raider-lover please tell me what the deal is?

Raider has a pretty steep learning curve if you're using the grenade launcher. The idea is to be an annoying twat and harass your base, keep you distracted and never die due to their shield.
You must be versing terrible raiders if they can't kill you, are they trying to use their grenade launcher outside of an enclosed area to kill you, or are they being good and using their SMG

eh gave up on saving for the MIRV, took like a month to get 50k xp
my juggy is very upgraded now though, so pwning should be a lot easier now
Anyone have some tips and tricks to get into the characters? All the different weapons and characters seem to make it difficult to get a good learning curve going.
god I love getting a large group of people to follow me, and tactical striking just before I die.
Bonus points if I die with it and get aftermath

Red guys are Blood Eagles aka Butchers
Blue guys are Diamond Swords aka Sand rakers
For the story, well, red guys split up from the human empire, blue guys are sent to attack red guys, red guys are pissed, so they steal flags from each other because that's how war works in tribes.
There's also a bunch of orange/yellow guys but no one cares about these faggots.

Long story short:
Eagles are red
Sworders are blue
Don't steal their flags
Or it's Shazbots for you.
I'm adding shazbot to my repertoire of swear words.
Oh for fuck's sake, it's impossible to get enough points to unlock the spinfusor. The xp amount you get each round is so tiny unless you boost it.
I really wish the blood eagles said shazbot more like it was a curse word, not as if it was what somebody was. It's annoying when people say "You're a shazbot" which translates to "You are shit/fuck"

I can repair shit whilst being invisible
It's also the first time I've been first for almost the entire game (I finished 2nd with only 21,000 points though, the first guy had 30,000 points)

It's more like comedic censoring. It's basically the Tribes way of cussing.
The loadouts feel a little too lacking though. It needs more weapons.
