Juggernauts are ridiculous. Me:Ok i got these turrets set up n shit announcer:THE GENERATOR IS DESTROYED GO REPAIR IT YOU PILLOCK Me:Geez ok fine But in the base, i'm greeted by a fuckass of juggernauts, who fly around at 500 sanics with an infinite energy pool and they blow me up in one hit. Generator is auto-repaired. Blown up a nanosecond after. In TDM, they really aren't that bad, if not pretty simple to deal with. In CTF, they just have to go into the gen room with another juggernaut, and you won't be able to get in. Hell, you don't even have to aim. just pop a round in a corner where they might land and oh look 1-hit kill, if not that you've got 100HP left. aaaaaargh
Just launch a bunch of explosives into the room, it's not really that hard to clear out unless there's a group of them and no one else is trying to clear the generator.
FUCK. I spent hours learning and using Sony Vegas to make a tribes thing, and whenever I find a render setting that doesn't get a non-descript error 7% of the way through, the track motion things don't line up the way they do in the preview, but only sometimes.
Well this caused way too much effort just to make a Sandraker joke, and even then the video is still really glitchy. i have a strange urge to play juggernaut now what makes the mirv so good
FSAT
Not a very good cap, where's the nitron jumps bro. Gotta go faster
i have a strange urge to play juggernaut now what makes the mirv so good
Splash damage everywhere.

you are everything that is wrong with this game ever please die

i enjoy being a dick that is how i play video games and have fun ;o even ask fremontsmith/troggdor, he is my irl friend and knows how evil i am
Not a very good cap, where's the nitron jumps bro. Gotta go faster
I'f if I'd gone any quicker I wouldn't have capped it though.
If you have enough to get a thumper for him, not only do you repair the entire base which is really important, but you can go toe to toe with anyone else Thumper op
It does less damage than a Spinfusor and has an annoying arc. And you have no secondary weapon, so anyone who gets beyond a few dozen meters is untouchable. And the turrets are made of tissue paper. And you have much less energy than a Soldier (100 vs 135), making it even harder to dodge shots or chase people. I play both Tech and Soldier, and as a Soldier I have no problem killing Techs. It's even easier for any of the heavies that can hit turrets from afar and can absorb three or more Thumper direct hits. I think most of the people complaining about Thumpers expect Techs to be extremely vulnerable like their counterparts in Team Fortress 2 and other games. Tribes doesn't work that way, the turrets are fairly mediocre and easy to circumvent or destroy so he can't rely on them for his kills. He has a primary weapon which isn't any better than that of a Soldier, but a repair tool instead of a secondary, seriously limiting his combat ability. Even with a decent gun as a primary he's still at a disadvantage. If you go up against a Thumper-wielding Technician up close as a Light in a tunnel you'll probably die, because that's the only place where it really shines- but the same's true for a Soldier with a Spinfusor or Thumper DX, and the Soldier is much better able to kill you from a distance and has more energy to chase you down with. Techs use the Thumper not because it's a phenomenal weapon that outclasses anything the other Mediums have, but because the SMG is pretty much worthless.
I'f if I'd gone any quicker I wouldn't have capped it though.
There are a lot of places that could have got you easily killed, like ontop of the hills.
Those freaking green laser nades that brutes use. Hnnggghhh.
Meleeing Funion is the best feeling in the world. Am I the only one who feels Brutes are underwhelming? Heavy Spinfusor isn't that great, It'll maybe give you a tiny edge over the soldier spinfusor but they will both still kill in the same amount of direct and indirect shots. And his secondaries meh at best. So all he has are fractal grenades and the highest energy of the heavies. And fractals are super situational and slow to use. [thumb]http://ph-matt.dyndns.org/~matt/weapondamageimage.php?patch=3&object=1&w2=on&w20=on&w40=on&w48=on[/thumb] soo the heavy spinfusor is slower to kill no matter what, even if every hit is direct or not.
Those freaking green laser nades that brutes use. Hnnggghhh.
See one roll into gen room. "NOOOO!!" Watch as turrets and lvl 4 gen are obliterated.
See one roll into gen room. "NOOOO!!" Watch as turrets and lvl 4 gen are obliterated.
It's the only way to get past them on certain maps though :v:
i asked him to be my valentine and he did not reply he is that evil
I'll be your valentine. I'm lonely.

Have you ever tried defending a flag with it? They either grab it so fast that the turrets can't even shoot them by the time they are out of there or an approaching pathfinder simply shoots them with 1 or 2 spinfuser shots and then its dead.
I love setting up force fields and watching pathfinders smash into it like bugs.
I love setting up force fields and watching pathfinders smash into it like bugs.
How does it even work. I was playing a round where the sandraker doombringer was putting them up around the flag. Was impossible to get it.
Faster you go through them, the more damage you take. Get a raider or a juggernaut to clear it before you try to cap. Team work necessary. Or atleast get someone to take out the generator. [editline]14th February 2012[/editline] This play list it pretty good http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5380790AE9414BC5
More sanics = bigger splat
How does it even work. I was playing a round where the sandraker doombringer was putting them up around the flag.
I'f if I'd gone any quicker I wouldn't have capped it though.
But you didn't know that, you just went slow and it happened to work out.
