My friend is having a problem with opening the launcher as he has a fatal error

Looks like there's something wrong with his font files, could be corrupt or missing.
If you go to:
C:\Windows\Fonts\
You should be able to find Arial.ttf files (and their variations) in there, try sending your font files to him, and putting them in his folder.

That looks a lot like a .Net Framework error. I'd say he should try updating.
I wish a weak version of Survivalist was always active - like +10% health and ammo on ammo pickups.
The perk is too good to not take, especially if you're defending or base raping.

Thank you very much, now I can play with him. Have a heart for help.
Wow, grabbing a flag my teammate dropped, while a defender was walking to return it to their base at 200 sanics, and then capping the flag at 200 is probably one of the best feelings in the world.
Also, I've got 5 hours put into this game, and all that I've played is Pathfinder. I have too much fun going fast.
Why didnt the Diamond Sword announcer ever say anything about deploying a HERC?
She only commented on the Blood Eagle HERC :(
Cuz sandrakers be poor!
I agree, and hadn't thought of a defensive or support buff. A non-offensive buff would actually be pretty useful- maybe give the turrets more health? That way the turrets are your primary defense, while the SMG is there for hurting a bit from far away or flag-chasing.
Having a SMG on you magically making your turrets be more armoured wouldn't make much sense but it'd be good gameplay-wise.

Yeah, it's stupidly essential. Don't know how I ever played the game before unlocking that perk.
Im assuming you mean the default secondary, why would you use that, for one its hitscan, so its much easier to hit people with, and 2 it does hardly any damage, i just use it after i get a hit with the spinfusor, where ti only takes 1 or 2 shots to down them.
It actually does rather good damage, around 300+ a shot I'd guess if you are shooting the enemy at less than 10 meter range. The damage popup is only for one of the bullets for whatever reason.

But she does, at 3:53.
"Request approved, HERC deployment underway!"
So it turns out a boost gives an additional 200% XP, thus 300% of total, combine it with VIP for ludicrous amounts.
I don't see how the weapon prices are a problem - they're easily acquired in under a few game hours with a booster, the game is supposed to be Free 2 Play, not just free.
If you use Tribes Gold, it's $10 per weapon.
That's the problem.
It's money far better invested in a booster anyway. It's a pretty ingenious business strategy:
The idiots overpay for small amounts of content and they couldn't care less.
The smart ones buy boosters and continue to play the game and they're more liable to buy more boosters.
The persistent ones are paying for nothing, but all that time spent playing is more time for them to consider buying something or even if that fails, for them to encourage their friends to play because it's F2P.

I see the issue there, but XP wise the cost isn't a problem.
But yeah, now I see it GP weapons are overpriced.

aha thanks didnt hear
Just bought the $10 dollar gold pack, and got VIP. That VIP lasts forever, right?

Just comparing 800 gold vs a 30-day booster:
800 gold costs $10.
30-day booster costs $15.
So figure that 800 gold is equivalent to 20 boosted days.
For weapons that cost 100,000XP/780 gold, then, you'd need to earn 100,000XP in 20 days to be equal in efficiency.
This means a total of 5,000XP per day, which even with VIP and booster is a fair bit of play. And that's for twenty days, continuously.
That's leaving aside that a good weapon might improve your efficiency, so the guy who bought the weapon via gold is getting more XP now, while buying a booster will force you to save up and wait before you can get that item and benefit.
I think calling anyone who buys gold an idiot is just silly. Not everyone has lots of time to invest in a game. Personally I don't like boosters or subscriptions, because I might get tired of the game after a week or two of constant play and then go do something different for a while. If you play the game a lot, a booster is a better choice. If you don't and just want VIP, to support the developers, or have too much cash and want a new toy to play with, the gold is the better choice.
Yeah? So?
If you approach them they'll skii away or shoot at you. Yeah, they can be killed, but in less than 40 seconds they'll be right back destroying your stuff again.
Infiltrators, Raiders, and Brutes are things you can defend against with turrets, mines, and forcefields and good techs. Juggernauts are not stopped by any of those things. Apart from having defenders abandon their posts to go and chase down single Juggernauts (only to have them come back again) there really isn't much I feel could be done to defend against them.
I'm late, but that's why they are called fucking Juggernauts.
jesus fuck, the splash of the fusion mortar is stupidly huge, I'm flying like 15 meters above one and the splash fucking kills me in one hit anyway.
jesus fuck, the splash of the fusion mortar is stupidly huge, I'm flying like 15 meters above one and the splash fucking kills me in one hit anyway.
A guy missed me with the fusion mortar but I was damaged by the AOE.
I was sent flying at 300 sanics, missed the fucking flag and it took the whole map to turn around.
That's not the point. The point is that they gave such sheer power to a single class and then imposed no limitations on it. There is no class limit for it. Your entire team can go Juggernaut and STEAMROLL EVERYTHING.
And as I said, normal defenses don't stop Juggernauts.
I guarantee a team of pathfinders would FUCK UP a team of juggernauts. The jugs would all be sitting on the ground pigeon shooting while the pathfinders can outmanoeuvre them easily. We had a group try that very thing against us - We won 5-0 and I got like 38 kills lmao.

I've never had problems with juggernauts in open spaces, it could be that I've never met a decent 1, but with my Sentinel I easily took out 2 of them v.s. me, and 1 on 1 is no problem either, just keep them at a medium distance where the mortar is easy to evade and the spinfusor is useless (keep the high ground) and since they can't move that fast they're basically a sponge and won't be able to avoid hits, so you can plink them with the Sniper rifle and wear down their remaining HP with the Falcon. Same works with Technician with thumper or the Soldier (They're the 3 classes I play most atm so unsure on the others, I can imagine they're similar though). They're a pain in the ass if they're in a confined space, but if they're wasting 2 or 3 guys just sitting in Gen then let them be.

How the fuck is a team of heavies going to cap flags?
How the fuck is a team of heavies going to cap flags?
Slowly.
Juggernaught.
Never a-fucking-gain. It's like a fat man waddling through mud, every hill I went up after a good ski just stopped me in my tracks, jetpack wouldnt help me because the fucker weighs like 5,000 stone. Fusion Mortar is a good weapon at long range but fuck me is the jugger shit at close range, he's only good for a meatshield, even then he dies so quickly, the spinfusor MKD never works for me because the fucker that attacks me is always a pathfinder faggot who keeps flying around me like a bee.
How the fuck is a team of heavies going to cap flags?
I've llama grabbed a flag as a juggernaut and damn walked home with it. Okay, not walked, but going 60 sanics is like walking.
Fractals are OP.

I got my first ultra kill, got six kills by running into the enemy pack and throwing 2 fractals.
I hate those rave grenades.
I hate those rave grenades.
They get a bit easier to dodge once you get used to them. It's really fun when you're fighting 3v1 or something and you die but drop a few before you die so you take 1-2 down with you.

Also your avatar is hot.
I really wished the game would do an auto-balance as soon as a new game starts.
Just came from 5 consecutive 5-0 games because people kept team hogging. One time i thought i joined a new server because there was like 5 vs 5, but apparently people were just trying to join the winning team... and of course when the server tries to balance things out mid-game it's already too late.
