I ALWAYS do it too, after playing this time I thought I would have stopped, but I keep doing it without thinking.

I'm enjoying the game so far. Really good quality stuff. Skiing takes a bit to get used to, though.

I love playing as that asshole pathfinder who has maxed Impact Nitrons and Safety Third and just annoys the hell out of anyone trying to steal flags.

I'm a Tribes newbie but I've been playing this over last week. It's awesome; I started off using the soldier but developed a preference for the pathfinder (or at least until I can save enough XP to buy the Spinfusor for the Soldier). The only thing that pisses me off is having something like 5 Juggernauts camping your generator, so I tend to play defensively whenever I'm on a server when that happens. Also, I spam [VDG], but people rarely listen, so I just get blown to bits.

I've got 24000 XP to spend, I enjoy going fast and I'm moderately accurate with the spinfusor. Advise me on how to allocate my funds.

Is the extended range flag grab perk worth getting? How far away can you grab from?

I was disappointed in my pathfinder speeds (max 150), so I decided I needed to train to the point that I could go fast on all the maps. 45 minutes later I hopped into a pub, and got a 39 sec GOTTA GO FAST grab on drydock. Felt good.

Is raider worth the buy? I prefer playing Juggernaut but I can't stand getting assraped by people going 3x faster than me. Also, how can I get a chaingun? That was my favorite weapon in the older tribes. And is it worth it?

Chaingun is doombringer. You'll rape anyone up close that's for sure.

I eventually got two flags around the 15 minute mark and eventually two other pathfinders finally started to do runs through the turrets. Ended up capping the final flag at two minutes to go.
