This game is brilliant. The only issue is the piss poor camera angles that can really fuck you up at times.
But this is awesome.
1: Awesome weapons
2: Awesome moves
3: Awesome Blood & Gore
4: AWESOME BOOBS!
Ninja Gaiden makes me rage nearly as hard as I do when I play Alen Hominid.
I assault the controller on either game
I rented this game on the 360 some time ago.
I enjoyed it for the first several levels, the Dogs with Swords attacked me and from that point on the game proceeded to bend me over the couch and rape me with it's giant throbbing difficulty curve.
I liked first better than the second, it wasent somehow the same like it was missing something what first had.

NG2 was great, but a lot easier than NGB sadly, and it had that little something that was missing.
this game sucks.
Also, NGBlack on Master Ninja=pure rage (I smashed a controller that way).
I always wanted to play that game on the Xbox but I never came to it, maybe I will get it soon. I heard it is really hard. So this will finally be a game, that will be challenging. It's like Ninja Blade.
I'm stuck at chapter six, that fucking huge snake human head thingy in metro keeps fucking me up.
I hit it with arrows, but then some flying heads start chasing me.
PLease help facepunch.
Damn, another 'This game is cool but I'm gonna act obnoxiously XTREME' threads. Fail.
Ninja Gaiden is good though.
I'm waiting for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 since I own The orginal Sigma, I thought it would be weird to own the original version and sigma version of the first. Or should I just get the normal NG2?
I own it and IT OWNED ME!

As in kicking my ass all the time even on the easier difficulty

This game is freaking hard!
I wish it was on pc. Yes, I DO have a gamepad, so it doesn't matter.
I played the demo of it. Seems alot like Devil May Cry, but bloodier. With both games you could quite happily get away with simply pressing the attack buttons in whatever order you wanted, but there is alot more to master. Having said that I heard that Ninja Gaiden 2 is really hard later on in the game.
Didn't know there was a demo of it.

Yeah, the first one had some magic the second one didn't. Maybe it was the free roam environment, the scenery, I don't know.

Ninja Gaiden is good though.
It kinda fits here since the game IS really extreme. You'd be right if I had made a thread about some farming game.
I jack off to this picture a lot.

She has a fucking hideous face. And her boobs in the first game can get laughably big.

It's a Japanese game, what did you expect?

Fun fact: Ninja Gaiden was originally made to appeal to western audiences.
That is a stereotype. The only FF character I've noticed with huge boobs was Lulu, and it's Team Ninja and whoever makes DOA are natorious for huge stupid boobs

No, not in NG. And I suggest playing NGB instead of NG2, NGB is a lot better (and a lot harder too).
I have NGB. it was moderately difficult. then I had to face those FUCKING GHOST PIRANHAS!!! I almost ragequit right there, but did I? nope, I went all the way up to that boss made of giant skulls, kicked his pansy ass, then fought [sp]Muramasa, the first boss of the game who turned out to be behind the whole thing and became the final boss.[/sp]
edit: oh yeah, I don't have NG2 yet, but I'm planning on it. I want to replay NGB and ragequit a couple of times before beating it again before getting NG2. Ryu Hayabusa is the reason I love Ninjas.

The sad thing is that I've never played NGB. Only NG and NG2. And I do agree, in NG2 button smashing works better.
Might buy NGB some time.
NGB isn't too different. If you have a PS3 get Signa it's the ultimate Ninja Gaiden.
i don't want to get frustrated at this game.
You should talk about Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. It's got co-op, two new playable characters, and some other cool shit. PS3 only however.
EDIT: Ok...
- Online only co-op
- Offline co-op available but it's CPU controlled only
- Three new playable characters: Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji (from Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword).
- New enemies
- New bosses
- Less gore? wtf
