I'm prob going to get a Human VS Ai server up sooner or later.
We just had a scrim against PRCC and steamrolled them, as Russia on Iron Ridge. K-D was in their favour in the first 10 minutes, but we soon brought it back in the latter half, and within 15 minutes of the start of the game we had captured their last point, causing them to lose by ticket bleed. Tried getting a screenshot of the ending score table but it didn't save :( We won by ~400 tickets.
Damn, that MeRK server was packed. All the battling squads were full, the ones with a space left didn't seem to use voice chat or communicate at all, and just stood in once place. Annnd I got put in 'transheli' so all I did was sit in the back of a helicopter twiddling my thumbs.
Morbo, MeRK server has barely any maps in its rotation... none are even temperate.
Another thing i dislike about PR is that when you join a game halfway through a match it is hard to get a squad that is not full or is properly functional...
I joined a Korean squad for a change to see if like they were really serious or played differently. Was playng on China on that map with the river running through some huge green farmland(forgot the name). We got our logistics and jeeps, headed out to a nice spot and set up some mortars. At one point someone threw an indindiary near us and heard that "SSSSSsss" sound. Squad leader gets mad and he's like "stop that!" and everyone is of course saying that we haven't thrown it. So another hiss of an incindiary and the squad leader is like "alright, show me all of your grenades. Whoever you are shouldn't have any left" We gather round and all of us have our grenades out and squad leader is baffled. American squad on top a hill get up from the grass and open fire on our little huddle killing us and destroying our set up. One of my favorite moments playing the game.
Not a very smart SQL.

Lots of people dislike some of the choices made with it, but nobody wants to play Muttrah over and over. [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] That said, we usually do have more than 10 maps. Currently the list is Asad Skirmish, Operation Archer Skirmish, Muttrah 64 Gaza AAS Ramiel (Ins) Beirut 32 Operation Barracuda Korengal (Ins) Muttrah Asad 64 Operation Barracuda (This one was a mistake, will probably be changed later today) We've played other maps like Fool's road and Dragonfly to death for the moment but I'm sure they'll be put back on at some point.
What about Burning sands! [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] and fucking jabal!
burning sands is so boring
What about Burning sands! [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] and fucking jabal!
We had Burning Sands on for a while before the update. Jabal's one of those maps we've played to death. That said, whatever maps we choose, Muttrah's always on after the skirmishes. Mainly because it's a good map for filling the sever. I'm getting sick of it though.
Muttrah is alright, most of my friends hate it though. Whats wrong with Barracuda?
barbed wire
I love the AAS maps, I don't like Insurgency.

Sniping on Muttrah in the mountain range is awesome. You can essentially pick off anyone in sight.
Muttrah is alright, most of my friends hate it though. Whats wrong with Barracuda?
It's on the maplist twice
haven't played PR since I last made a thread here. What was in the latest major update?
Off the top of my head: Thermite can only be dropped to burn your feet off (not thrown), medics can't heal themselves, (alleged) bad changes to rpg accuracy. Jabal (seaside dam level) capture order and layout changed about (at least in one version of it) - becomes a clusterfuck. Jabal's fog has decreased so you can see your hand in front of your face. New very fun Canada vs Insurgent skirmish on Kokan. UAVs are back.
APCs turn faster to the left than to the right
barbed wire

barbed wire
Jump, medic if needed. On the other hand they fixed Burning Sands.
Don't forget the BEST change in the update: There's now helicopters back on Al-Basrah Alt (32). There's a Lynx and either a Merlin or a Chinook. There's also colour-coded shields to tell you if the team will have ticket bleed if the corresponding point is captured (Red for enemy bleed, Blue for friendly). A lot of map layouts have been changed in one way or another. They also fixed the Panzerfaust 3 for the German HAT kit. Helicopters have 60 flares but are more prone to engine failure (I think they still have the same amount of health, just the value at which they will be forced down has been increased).
Don't forget the medics can't heal themselves with the medic bag anymore. Oh, and the RPG is now launched by a spud-gun.
The RPG is now like the Panzerfaust in Forgotten Hope 2.
The RPG is now like the Panzerfaust in Forgotten Hope 2.
No... you just don't know how to use it. Host a LAN and fire the RPG at different ranges 5 times each and you will get it. Can you get Burning Sands added to rotation on merk?
no, they fucked up the RPG really bad
no, they fucked up the RPG really bad
I can accurately fire one at a APC from 300 Meters... its fine.
No it isn't.
I can accurately fire one at a APC from 300 Meters... its fine.
Video or it didn't happen.
No it isn't.
"Im no good at firing the rpg so it sucks because its to hard for me". Are you implying that the RPG is extremely accurate and does not drop at a fast rate?
It isn't this inaccurate. Oh, and I can do the assumption thing too. "im supr pr pro if theres flaw wit game its coz ur a scrub"
