I really, really hope they don't.
I have been in tears so many times watching some happy hadji bombing along at mach 9 only to hit a small ditch and be instantly killed.
Bikes are the perfect combination of speed and deadliness.
Can't count the times my squad needed to take cover because of an incoming bike, only to have him blow up from hitting a small pebble in the road. Or in some cases, just smack straight into a wall.
I'd say one of my best PR moments is when I was on that beach assault map, a fully manned fast jeep was coming our squads way very fast, and I managed to nail it with my AT4 dead center in the face of the driver, causing everyone inside to vaporize leaving the vehicle perfectly fine. My squad just sat there staring at me for a while :v:
Is it against the rules to attack the Hamas during Friday prayers? As ridiculous as it is, I got kicked.....

It's actually quite common. I was banned from a server for shouting "Allahu Ackbarrr" loudly into my microphone while blowing up an entire convoy in a bomb car. Minutes after that I was banned because my squadleader was muslim, and a friend of the admins there.
Some people just want to watch the world rage :v:

Shame, that's why our guys have been relegated to TS only.
I will endevour to find out while I'm in the middle east what MADAHADA MAJURN and ABHEAR MUSEF mean.
Do people still play this mod? I quit for PR:ArmA2, then that died so I went to BF3 and all these other AAA mp games. I don't think I'll ever go back, its just not very fun anymore. Except for maybe the few Chinese maps.
Yeah, not as many as when you used to play with us, but theres still usually about 200 people playing.

Lots, although the Tactical Gamer server is pretty much dead thanks to BF3.
I miss PR a shit ton right now. My mic's been bust for the past couple of weeks, and with RO2, BF3 and MW3 it's pretty much dead from what I've heard.
I need to find a new server, I miss TacticalGamers
Someone please tell me Hardcore died.
Next patch adds Vietnam, not sure how far off that is but we'll definitely see a player surge then.

You sure about that? Last I heard PR Vietnam was dead
I liked at first, but then I found out you can't go in to third person. Yes, I'm that picky.
Currently playing as a tank squad on burning sands. We're winning so far, and i'm fucking owning

It's a realism based game, I suppose you expect the ability to resist 20 shots to the head too?

What?
Also PR is not a realism based game, ArmA2 is more realistic.

More realistic in engine and features, not gameplay.
ARMA AI even with zeus sucks, I mean really sucks. To the point where any engagement from a "military realism" standpoint is really off. Plus I find it so hard to get decent "vs" multiplayer games in ARMA.
PR has lots more gameplay friendly features, but in terms of engagements is more realistic.

ArmA AI is better then PR AI.
In terms of gameplay, it really depends on who is playing.
If you played ArmA2 90 player ACE/ACRE pvp games it can be extremely fun and realistic in organized matches with commanders etc.

Who does those now? I was with 6th Sense for a bit but there was hardly ever any PvP matches.
(Also, I forgot how much of an amazing features ropes were. Seriously.)

Community has basically dwindled... 1.60 should bring back some players and maybe it will rebuff @PR mod.
What?

There's the ClusterFuck tournament that I used to play in. Was pretty good.
Its still sad PR has basically died out now.. PR:ArmA2 is constantly 0, and it looks like good old PR:BF2 is dying aswell...

On that note I'm sad that =]H[= is still running.
Take into account that it's something like 1pm in America, 7am in the UK and 8/9/10am across Europe, on a Tuesday morning.
As sad as this might be, I actually have more fun playing the coop matches in this game. Its a lot more laid back, less nonsense bullshittery.

Yep. http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f389-pr-dev-blogs/103336-pr-vietnam-update-r-dev-matrox.html
Our next stage of development has been focusing on what we want to do with the PR:V mod and how we are going to incorporate it.
We are following the route of including it within the next PR release, rather than a stand alone mod.
I knew it would realistic, but not that realistic.

Project Reality's goal is behavioral realism, not mechanical realism (which is prevented by the engine's limitations). The idea behind Project Reality is to get people and assets to behave similarly to their real-world roles. For example, Rally points, FOBs, et cetera are used because they're important for maintaining squad cohesion; it would be more realistic if a shot to the arm "killed" each player and sat them out for the rest of the round, but in the end you'd have a small number of individual soldiers searching in vain for the enemy. Teamwork is the soul of PR- small changes like this are important for preserving it.
Besides, Arma 2 is more realistic because it's a simulation. Project Reality is, at heart, a game. Both are tactical shooters, yes, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. Is Red Orchestra a better game than SWAT 4 or STALKER because it's more realistic? All three games belong in the same genre but they have radically different focuses which means none of them can really be judged in the same context as the others.

Because it's currently a weekday. There's usually more people on the weekends, and most schools get breaks for Thanksgiving next week so there'll be a lot more people playing I'm sure.
If you don't mind me asking, why don't you like the =]H[= servers? I've played on them loads and I've never had any serious issues with the administration or other players.

=]H[= Administration is horrible. I've been banned for making a comment on one of the admins in their ventrilo who said something along the lines of "What Israel is doing to Palestine is justified". I made a statement countering this and got banned for "promoting terrorism". Most of their admins are general assholes etc. There are people who will agree with me in this thread. I think most of them are republicans.
I gotta agree, they're one of the worst PR communities. Their servers are devoid of order too.
Agreed, you get banned way too fast on the equalsrightbracketHleftbracketequals servers.
In fact I got kicked merely for saying that word because it was "making fun of the admins and hurting their 12y/o feelings too much waah waah"
Why are they such pussies, god. You play a game that depicts realism and teamwork, and gritty war and you aren't allowed to talk like grown-ups or point out flaws to their "perfect" little bubble.
