Generally if you crash once and its your fault, its not really "ok" with most people to just get in another chopper. If you get shot down, fair enough however.
The coop servers are there for you to learn. Wasting any asset will obviously piss off the team...
I remember one time where I was doing good, bombing the shit out of tanks with the A-10, shot down some helicopter with the GAU-8, was feeling badass.

I don't see the problem unless it's a mumble server. If you're flying a single seated aircraft why do you need a mic? Pretty much all of the communication between the rest of your team will be done through the chat, and transport squads hardly have to communicate much other than to maybe report where enemy AA is or say that they're going to pick up a certain squad or whatever. Commanders are rare these days also.
Anybody fancy a game now? just got back into this mod after a few years, and i forgot how enjoyable it is with a good squad.
I've gotten pretty good at flying transport choppers now. Went my first round without crashing the entire time, I just have to practice fast landing, because I often have to hover and slowly desend. Whenever I try to do a fast landing by holding S, the chopper starts to slide to the side, which isn't good when your in a narrow street.

Have you noticed that its expanded its map list to be more than Kokan lately?
So do you need to have BF2 fully updated for this to work, or just have the game installed?
I'm thinking about reinstalling BF2 just to play this, but I don't want to have to fully patch BF2 AND download PR.

the thing about pr's options is that they limit you big time
like if you want to set up your joystick and whatnot you have to go do it in bf2. the good thing about that is that the options are saved over, and as far as i know PR doesn't use any additional keys that bf2 doesn't have.
bf2 doesn't have that capability as far as I know because I haven't seen it in the options unless I'm ultra blind

What is your problem exactly? I'm assuming it's the CD key right? If so, your best bet is to contact support.

Yeah, it's the CD Key. Oddly, I was able to play Battlefield 2 about a few weeks ago, and I only recently decided to play again, and this is what happened.
