Knew the controls would be this games downfall.
I saw this on Sakurais twitter, and its something about Europeans being able to buy card packs for 10 euros each with 24 cards in them? I hope America gets this shit.
Alright, just beat Kid Icarus (the 3D classic on 3DS) now KIU can come :v:
when the hell does the circle pad pro comes out? i havent seen it anywhere and all these CPP compatible games are being released
when the hell does the circle pad pro comes out? i havent seen it anywhere and all these CPP compatible games are being released
It's already out. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline]
Gamestop exclusive. on that note, I got a free card from a copy of Game Informer.
Wait, seriously? Here in Europe, I've seen it in nearly every store that sells 3DS's :v:
i live in merrica i guess the fact that i never go to gamestop is the reason i never see the CPP
My free Club Nintendo cards are on the way, so I'll have 4, including my Gameinformer card, and then 10 after I pick up the game(game comes with 6 cards).

And has anyone seen IGN's video review of Uprising? Dont you love how the guy doesnt mention the stand that comes with the game. I checked though and the circle pad pro is only compatible with the game so that lefties can play, not so it acts as a second analog stick, but still, that guy in the review makes it sound like no other DS game has used Uprising's control scheme before.

Ill be the judge whether or not the controls make my hands hurt like Star Fox Command or Metroid Prime Hunters did, (which didnt happen often), when i get my copy.

And they were having a blast playing it. Also, mine came in the mail today! But it's at my parents house, half-way across the coutry :v: Well, I'll go there tomorrow.
Controls on the ground flummox a bit but otherwise the games fucking amazing, played a bit of Singleplayer and Light vs Dark with a friend, the games banter is amazing. One of the bots names in multiplayer is Captain N.
I love the dialog. They know it's bad. And they take that and run with it. It's hilarious.
And i was right, the stand accessory really does make it easier to play. And yes i like the dialogue because its so cheesy and stuff japanese people probably talk about too.
One of the bots names in multiplayer is Captain N.
Oh god, that is so awesome.
Say what you want about the ground controls, Sakurai did one thing right online wise. Unlike Brawl, Uprising's online isnt laggy.
Just got mine for $30 at best buy. I'll join you guys online as soon as I get good gear from singleplayer. I don't get the control complaints, they're exactly the same as Metroid Prime Hunters. I guess MPH had the comfort problem but it didn't effect the game that much.

That being said even then it's still not bad, the games fun as hell.
Ah yeah, online I got a 270 ranked brawlers gloves, I'm the mother fuckin fist of the north star now. Jesus christ. Just activate my super armor and it's like nothing can stop me.

Edit: Holy hell this is going to be a long game (chapter 9+ Spoilers) [sp]Kinda thankful Medusa got rushed out the door, the two new army leaders are far more interesting[/sp]
I saw those in the store, are they literally hulk hands :v:?
Basically, but when you hold down fire, a million fists just start flying out of you. Picture totally related, me vs the enemy sniper. By the way, how do people score 0 points?! Are people so bad at the controls that they can't figure out what attacks?
The final part of the Kid Icarus Uprising Anime : Palutena's Revolting Dinner is up in Japan. Here some screencaps; http://i.imgur.com/5hfz2.jpg [sp]bewbs[/sp]

Not out in english yet, no. And it will, since part 1 is still available on the 3DS.

I'd love to discuss the game with you all but I believe my copy was stolen off of my doorstep before I got home. UPS says they left it on the doorstep at 2:45, and I got home at 3:00 to nothing. I may search the neighborhood later to see if it was dropped off at the wrong place, but I'm pretty pissed right now.

I LOVE this game so far. The controls thing is only bothering the way I turn, but otherwise it feels fine. I've only completed up to 3.5 difficulty though. I gotta say that I wish there were more health drops/hot springs.
