I cant wait for news on portal 2 :D
You are all fooling yourselves if you think the same guy who has so far bluntly deflected and dismissed any and all questions about Portal 2 and Episode 3 is suddenly going to spill details on them beyond "We're working on them, Don't worry about it. Next question?" when there's still Left 4 Dead 2 to hype.

Hay guys. Maybe we'll get another The "colour" box [i]if[/i] they can release for the same time as L4D2.
Eh, Portal 2, how boring. Couldn't really care less what they do with that.
It'd be a nice surprise to get a new *box (Blue Box? Tangerine Box?) that has L4D2 + Portal 2 + Ep3 or something. They've been silent long enough, maybe they've actually been doing some serious overtime to get Ep3 and the like finished quicker than expected.

What kind of a reply is that? I'm telling you exactly what's going to happen. Expecting any info at all beyond the stock "We're working on them" lines with L4D2 still not released yet is going to just crush your hopes when he reveals exactly nothing.
Short of a trailer in Left 4 Dead 2, Don't expect anything on Portal 2 or Episode 3 this year.

Who gives a shit if no new info is given about the games I'll probably be upset for a mere 5 minutes before going back to my normal life.

I'm saying that Valve has done nothing but dismiss any and all questions about EP3 or Portal 2 for almost 2 years now and expecting them to suddenly raise the info blackout beyond the typical recycled soundbytes in a interview where L4D2 is the main focus is silly. L4D2 works as a nice little distraction to keep the focus off of Half-Life and Portal to buy them more time and gives the public a new release from them to look forward to so it's not a completely barren year for them. I don't see them releasing anything about EP3 or Portal 2 this year, If we're lucky there might be a trailer in L4D2.

Idiot, Gabe told a detail about Ep3 in a video not too long ago, so he might as well tell some more details.
He will probably say nothing more than "We got a team on this and that".
If they where going to announce something epic they would do it in a press release or presentation

That was about the [i]possible inclusion[/i] of a technology and that if they did go ahead with it they had justification in their backstory for it. It does not mean that it's a concrete feature specifically for EP3.
