I like Halo though. It's not revolutionary but it's a nice shooter in a good looking package with enough plot to keep me interested even years after the last game in the original trilogy.

FF7 was pretty decent, but I never saw the hype. Never really played Zelda games. Starcraft is very simple, that's why it's so accessible. CS, well, I just don't like it.

I agree that the absolute BEST GAME EVER OR YOU'RE AN IDIOT thing is stupid, but that doesn't mean that Deus Ex is overrated or bad. It's the people who want to look cool by claiming it is their favorite game and blindly defending it when they really thought it was average. As you said.
