I think I'll be wearing the Gemini Space Suit for a while, with the Katana.
[QUOTE=Psycrowtik;16400710][media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL-Lw8OAjYk[/media][/QUOTE] oh god I can't fucking wait after watching the trailer, it looks like sorta Prey-esque
I can't wait for the GOTY, it will just be a massive jizz-fest with all the DLCs.
What patch should I patch up to for compatibility with the mods in the OP? Last I had FO3 installed the latest patch was a mod killer 1.05 (I think).

Umm is it normal for a Random Deathclaw to spawn on the top floor of the Temple of the Union? (well almost everyone someone else was in room up there) I mean i killed everyone there jumped down out the window, killed a cow walked back in and this Deathclaw just runs down from the upstairs... Must be FOOK.

Yeah well mine wasn't an enclave deathclaw, it was just a deathclaw lol. [editline]09:24PM[/editline] Interesting, I just realized I ran FO3 without having Steam open, I launched it from the Mod Manager.
[QUOTE=johan svensk;16399437]is it just me but is the first level of fallout 2 stupidly hard? i got a maximum of 33 health and every ant takes like 10 health before i kill them[/QUOTE] Tag and/or put points into combat skills, take the Heavy Hitter trait if things really get out of hand. Otherwise, you and everyone else who bitches about not being able to one-shot ants with a spear from the word go have only yourselves to blame for not avoiding unnecessary confrontations. I really mean that. High Agility, high Charisma and reasonable Intelligence stats (for AP/dodging traps and talking Cameron out of the fight respectively) are enough to escape the Temple and most other encounters without taking a single point of damage. After that, there are enough quests with non-violent solutions and opportunities to make enough money and XP to sharpen combat skills. The payoff is that your character becomes nigh-on unstoppable: able to talk their way out of trouble and into more money while still being able to handle a fight either thanks to superior equipment or followers.
About damn time. Trailer was epic. What will the weapon be used for anyways?
I'm guessing you'll find out while the Aliens are there.
[QUOTE=ForcedDj;16405408]About damn time. Trailer was epic. That's assuming we get any say in whether or not it fires and if so, where.
I like broken steel so far
This game is horrible. Short, glitchy guns, horrible AI, stupid story (by "stupid," I mean short), doesn't give you that, "cool game" feel when the game ends, and it's 50 bucks when i bought it. DLC's were problematic. I stopped getting them after the second one, thought they're a waste of time + money. I thought since this game was made by Bethesda, one of my favorite game companies. I have Morrowing + Oblivion and all their expansions + DLC's, and i'd say they're quite worth your money. Fallout 3 is a different story. They should've wasted their time making Elder Scrolls V instead of Fallout 3. All in all, Oblivion beats Fuckout 3 10-fold.

You sound like you had a bad day at work and decided to come home and bash something random.

Most of the settlers don't care who you are until you make an impression by doing jobs around town. Now it's "Vault-Kid" that and "Hey, you're James' son/daughter" this. The fact that the Wasteland recognises you as a teenager affects your actions negatively all the fucking time. Half the people you meet will be patronising and smug about your age and assumed lack of experience regardless of your ability or reputation. Yet in spite of this ones offering work still demand that you do their dirty work, often with no reward whatsoever.
No one posted about the 40k Mods?
[IMG]http://i32.tinypic.com/k1s020.jpg[/IMG] What. Anyways I love this game, and I'm definitely picking up the Mothership Zeta DLC when it releases.

[QUOTE=Ultragamer05;16406687]I like it better than Oblivion. Well now that there are DLCs that's not entirely the case but whatever.
Just bought Mothership Zeta from wal-mart... dosen't it come out tuesday? I'm gonna see if it works!
GOTY Edition now please

You never return to Anchorage (and will most likely never return to the Mothership) and the only big difference with The Pitt is whether or not there are Pitt Raiders hanging around. Going back there feels like wandering around a film set having already starred in the production. There's nothing left to do apart from repeatable fetch quests, the ammo press and gawking at the steelyard. Really, it suffers from too many grey vs. grey choices, like getting the ghouls into Tenpenny Tower. They should have done more with the leadership dynamics seen in previous games which barely register here, like how Sheriff Simms and Moriarty seem to have Megaton divided on who to follow. The political spat between Seagrave Holmes and Banon just felt petty: either way, nothing changed apart from the prices of a store whose owner is never at the stall and a vendor who doesn't have anything I want.

Come to think of it, this and the Gemini-Era space suit are bound to have terrible damage resistance. Unless they come up with some serious handwaving, none of these armours sound like they'll be worth keeping over anything weaker than leather.

[QUOTE=emPiRe14;16407670]It's alien upgraded samurai armor.[/QUOTE] I'm not seeing a Pip-Boy on that guy and there's no way the aliens would be stupid enough to upgrade armour while it's still being worn. Unless he just broke free of his alien restraints and murdered his way past alien laser rifles and alien drones to get his alien upgraded armour and alien upgraded sword back. I can totally see that happening.
Maybe they have people from centuries ago that have been kept in a stasis? That could be a real samurai.
