I've heard Fallout 1 has more character and charm, and that Fallout 2 relied a bit too much on cultural references. But I've never played either, so whatever. I saw that Fallout 1/2/Tactics pack today, and I almost bought it. Now I wish I had.
Which one painstakingly changes every single dialog option in the entire game if you make your character a retard?
Which one painstakingly changes every single dialog option in the entire game if you make your character a retard?
That's what I liked about Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, and some older games by Bethesda(I think Morrowind had it). If you give your person low intelligence your person talks like a retard.

Perhaps the problem is Voice Acting. Every character you can talk to has to have a voice actor which is painstakingly paid to say their lines (you can see the problem.)
Here it is, it's on the road next to the super market (forgot it's name) http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1658
Thanks babe.
I just did some jumping around and used some big guns as stepping stools, but I did it! I got to Stockholm on the console! I was happy when I found out Stockholm's unique dialog. Climbing can be fun in this game. ^_^

Go to the right side of the store and use shopping carts to get on the fence, then use more to get on the roof. By roof I mean the little overhang thing, but you could probably get onto the actual roof if you use a lot of shopping carts.
Thanks babe.
No problem

I will have to try your idea, though. Thanks!
Is there a mod that just fixes the GNR broadcast signal instantly? I really don't want to do that quest for EVERY character.
Is there a mod that just fixes the GNR broadcast signal instantly? I really don't want to do that quest for EVERY character.
I'm sure you can just use the console to make the quest complete.
hehehe, aliens started abducting people since feudal japan... that samurai in the mothership Zeta was from the Oda clan, you can tell by that symbol in his armor.

I dunno which came first, Feudal Japan or before the U.S.A became an independent country. But judging on the # on the Alien Captive Recordings, I say the 1697 came first.
I'm level 23 now and just finishing up Point Lookout. Is it right to feel like some god with neigh on unlimited ammo and stimpacks, ridiculous sneaking skills, 95% to hit at all times and a stupidly high chance to crit, resulting in instant kills most of the time? Seriously, the only thing that still poses some kind of challenge are those goddamn security bots with the three legs.
Grab a balancing mod from fallout 3 nexus, or change your difficulty.
Playing on normal at the moment, as far as I know. Hell, I can't remember, but I always play the middle setting first time around. I'll probably mod it to hell and back on my second play through.
i installed that settler mod and it's awesome but i dont get how do i find food/metal? or normal f3 items counts as it?
When talking to her (Sally) in the maintenance area you can say "What an incredible smell you discovered," which could be a reference to a line from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Laughed when I got to that part.
Help, whenever i go into VATS mode it lags like fuck Running 1.6

I finished Lookout with a level 27 on normal and barely got out of there alive with almost no ammo left because I shot thousands of rounds in the trackers' and tribals' heads which didn't seem to do much for some reason.
I got the settlers mod and started building a house, after it was finished my builder started running around in circles screaming, I wondered what he was doing and then noticed 2 bears chasing him, 5 seconds later, there was a grave where he was standing along with 2 dead bears on either side, now the tutorial has broken because of it.
I've unfortunatly failed to get both the Destabilizer (wasn't where it was supposed to be) and General Chase's Coat (Couldn't find it and didn't know it existed until too late.) What are the console commands to spawn objects? I just want to spawn these two objects so I can be some badass Winterized Colonel Autumn hunting down Brotherhood of Steel members.
i installed that settler mod and it's awesome but i dont get how do i find food/metal? or normal f3 items counts as it?
Get a searcher or whatever they're called. They find scrap metal and foods. Also A Farmer can help out alot with food. Getting brahmin can help bringing in alot of metals.

You can only get it from O:A at the moment.
In the console type: "player.additem <itemcode> <amount>" Google for itemcodes.
They actually have all of them on the Fallout Wiki, it's awesome!
is there a female mesh for chase's coat?
is there a female mesh for chase's coat?
It's unisex, it's too big to really reveal anything relating to gender anyway (sort of like T-51b.)
how the fuck point lookout is goddamn hard
He's lying, the game cheats to make itself harder depending on your level (yes friends, Level Scaling is still in Fallout 3, but just not as bad as Oblivion!)
All (When I mean all, I mean all, theres the cut Spanner melee weapon over there by Captains Sidearm) the loot from Mothership Zeta.
