Does that to me too. Theres really no way around it, run in windowed mode could help a little.
Katana was replaced by Samurai Sword, weilding the Spanner is awkward, it uses the Switchbalde animations but the spanner is fucked up and inside your arm. Also it can only do the longer "Hold fire" attack, no fast hitting.

It happens to alot of people, it seemed to have started happening when they released the first patch I think so if you don't want the VATS lag you might have to use unpatched fo3 with the fake patch or something.
VATS never lagged for me, it must be hardware specific or something.
VATS seems to freeze for a few seconds for me the first time I target an enemy far away (60+ meters), but only one time.

Yeah, I can understand cutting weapons for multiplayer games, you know, for balance. In games like this, I'd be happy with any weapon. Don't know about the Spanner, but maybe the Katana was cut in place of the Samurai's Sword.

WTF I just baught FO3 and it seems it's only the language that you buy? What bullshit is this, it makes me rage so bad.
I cannot stand german translations, they're so aweful, wtf I mean this is so wrong, what did the developers think by doing this? Oh my god I'm so angry right now, 50 years ago when you only had punch cards I can understand that they tried to make programs as small as possible but today?
The fucking DVD only contains 5,6GB that's a fucking joke they could add every fucking language and every fucking dialect and still have a small program.

For those complaining about VATS lag, if you're running any form of AA, turn it off or reduce it a lot. Fixes it for some people, but not all.

You can also do "coc testquaitems", take the item you want from the mailboxes, then do movetoqt. Although this brings you back to the mission target, it's easier unless you know the name of another cell.
This is also useful in case you don't know the code for the item, or don't know what you want.
Mothership Zeta had to be the best DLC out of all of them apart from Broken Steel. The ending fight with the death cannon was amazing.
