Is there a way to run at a custom resolution? I'm sick of the launcher not having my native resolution.

Instead of making it more of a moral choice (as in, you just see people dying but you are immune) Bethesda decided it would be best to force their views on you and made you, and ONLY you, affected by FEV contaminated water (first one permanently lowers your strength by 1, the next one either kills you or lowers your intelligence by 1, any other could be deadly.)
Sure there are people piled up in the medical bays of their respective towns, but Bethesda clearly wanted to make the game SO MUCH MORE morally black and white then it should have been.
My idea? Don't put the FEV virus in (Colonel Autumn solution) but proceed to nuke the Citadel (would help The Enclave.)

I read that the FEV water kills any wastelanders that you give it to?
Also why do so many people hate the BoS?

What the fuck is Gabe Newell in Fallout 3
ep3 is delayed again
Haha you can't say the joke yourself and then reply with what someone else is supposed to reply
I read that the FEV water kills any wastelanders that you give it to?

You can only give it to Water Beggers.
Also, we hate them because they are bastards of what the Brotherhood of Steel REALLY is.
Remember the Outcasts? I love them, and they are the REAL Brotherhood of Steel. The Lyons Pride division in The Citadel are actually rebels whose leader is likely to be court marshaled back west. We hate them because they are stereotypical White Knights incapable of evil in any capacity (a far cry from anyone else in the game) and are so good that killing even one is somehow a sin against nature (negative karma.)
The Brotherhood of Steel is meant to be a morally grey faction that honestly doesn't care if a couple hundred people live or die, as Elder Lyons put it, "The Brotherhood feels a need to find technology and preserve it, after all, everyone knows how to make another human, but knowing how to make a P93 Plasma Rifle as been all but lost."

I like the outcasts. The black and red looks really cool with power armor.
Then I wonder the fuck why would Bethsdeta would have the most of the Outcasts as evil characters (you can find a finger on all of their scouting parties).
But didn't the BoS decided to go back to their technological search after Broken Steel?

Yeah but only because [sp]Liberty Prime[/sp] blew up.

Because they left the "good guys" and are clearly evil, since they are in opposition to the All That is Holy Lyons Pride.
I mean God damn, I can see why NMA got so pissed.
Yeah but only because [sp]Liberty Prime[/sp] blew up.
That wasn't a technological search anyway, more of trying to rebuild [sp]Liberty Prime[/sp] because he got supremely raped in the ass.

I can only imagine how that would look with Enclave Power Armor.
How would Black with Gold Outlines look?
So people hate them because they created their own faction separate from the rest of the BoS?
So people hate them because they created their own faction separate from the rest of the BoS?
Well, that's why the Western Brotherhood of Steel hates them, they actively defied orders and are, in a sense, rogue.
The reason people here hate them is because they are too stereotypical. Back in the day The Enclave and The Brotherhood of Steel were a LOT more gray. The Enclave of Fallout 2 wasn't necessarily evil, they had real goals and were making a lot more progress in areas (I think they even actively hired people who seemed useful in the Wastelands) but were generally psychotic, not evil. The Brotherhood of Steel was a lot less likely to shoot you, but they would rather watch you get eaten alive by a wild dog then waste a bullet on that wild dog, unless you could tell them the location of a weapons or technology cache, in fact if I remember correctly the Brotherhood of Steel is actively fighting a war against the New Californian Republic.

I found the post where I did it. Here it is. You can see what I used to get on the actual overhang, I think the ones I used to get on the fence fell over after I got up there.

I never saw the Enclave as 'evil', just a bit mislead. They want to rebuild America, but to do it they wish to exterminate anyone who's not 'pure'. Alternatively they could just handout Rad-Away at outposts and kill off the Super Mutants. I wish we had the option to allow President Eden to work with us, thus giving us partial control of the Enclave Military. I don't like how fighting the Enclave seems forced, and we don't have the option to reason with them.

Yeah, it'd be nice for evil characters. Just [sp]blowing up the citadel[/sp] doesn't feel evil enough. Throughout pretty much the whole game you're fighting Enclave, even if you're evil.
The Enclave (technically) killed your Dad thus making you a orphan. I think there is enough reason to destroy the Enclave.

Maybe you never liked your dad. Then again he's Liam Neeson so why wouldn't you.
Spare yourself the trouble and just spawn one in console
Kinda defeats the point of making improvised weaponry.
I need to reinstall Fallout 1 and 2. They are sitting on my external hard drives, lonely... Maybe once the new Restoration Project/Unofficial Patch comes out.
And holy shit a new Megamod was released on the 30th.
I like setting up things to do target practice with my railway rifle with.
[editline]04:25PM[/editline]
The one I just made.

You could choose to side with either Eden or Autumn, and possibly either rewire Liberty Prime to see The BoS as Red Chinese Communists, or even [sp]download President John Henry Eden into Liberty Prime in what would easily be the most badass moment in gaming history.[/sp]

If you're on Vista try going to C:\Users\(User Account)\Documents\My Games\Fallout3 and editing FalloutPrefs.ini. I think you want to edit iSize W and iSize H. Just make a backup first in case it doesn't work.
iSize W=Width
iSize H=Height
Oh my god yes
Did anyone notice that you could pickup about 5 bobbleheads in the point lookout swamp? They don't show up in your inv though after you get the seeds for the tribal people though.
