An english version of Cube experimental is out! WOOT! http://www.moddb.com/mods/cube-experimental/news/cube-experimental-english-and-german-version-104-available
YESSSS Is the quality just as good as the German one? [editline]08:22AM[/editline]
Also, what weapons were you using Polo? I have 100 Small Guns, so I tend to use Lincoln's Repeater, sometimes swapping out to either a Combat Shotgun or a Chinese Assault Rifle. Also, I mine the shit out of any area I'm going to have to defend (Calvert mansion, Ghoul Safari etc).
I have 100 in all combat skills and I use a gatling laser until that runs out of ammo in 5 seconds and then switch over to the Xuanlong assault rifle and have the best rare autoaxe for melee. I also found a Microwave Emitter in Point Lookout that somehow killed pretty much all enemies in no more than a couple shots and I don't know why because under damage it does only around 60. I have a Lincoln Repeater but .44 ammo is rare and the rifle itself is in kind of low condition.
Anyone know why my FOOK is not working? I installed everything correctly on a fully patched and clean install of FO3. My load order is correct and I have no other mods besides FOOK. As soon as I launch the game it gives me the generic "Fallout 3 has stopped working".
Got the latest patch? That happened to me with a clean install.
Got the latest patch? That happened to me with a clean install.
Yeah, I have the latest patch. Forgot which version but it's the latest since Windows Live prompted me to install an update for FO3 when I started it. Why? Is FOOK incompatible with it?
No, but when I did it without having the latest mine crashed. Are you using any FOOK stuff that requires other mods or the DLCs?
No, but when I did it without having the latest mine crashed. Are you using any FOOK stuff that requires other mods or the DLCs?
Hmm, I have "Owned!" and the "Additional Power Armor Training" plugin.
If they require either FOSE or other mods, the game will crash. And if you have mods for the DLCs, but haven't put your DLCs in the Data folder, the game will crash.
Essentially, it's brain surgery.
You have to have FOSE to run some of the mods included in FOOK.
You have to have FOSE to run some of the mods included in FOOK.
I never had to use FOSE.
If they require either FOSE or other mods, the game will crash. Besides, I tried removing the .esp files for them and it still crashed even without them. I'm not sure why. Could it be because my FO3 is installed in Program Files (x86)? I heard it causes issues, I have UAC disabled though.
Do you even know what FOSE is?
Yes, fallout script extender. But I was responding to where he said "or other mods". Does FOSE even have support for the latest patch though?
The latest beta does.
Damn, still crashing even with FOSE. I read the readme and extracted everything where it said to and ran the FOSE loader but it still doesn't work. Maybe I should post in the tech support part of their forums?
Wow, that Cube experimental mod was seriously epic. I was already starting to forget that I'm playing a Fallout 3 mod when getting close to the end, everything just felt so professionally done and I really couldn't believe that the voice acting wasn't done by some real voice actors or something. And the reward weapons you get are just fucking awesome. One of them is a MIRV that fires about 20 mini-nukes at the same time.

I saw it once or twice on FO3Nexus but never downloaded it because it was in german. Now it's in english I might try it out.

The only thing bad about it is that there are several places where you have to jump a lot and it gets a bit frustrating after a while with the awful jumping mechanics that FO3 has.
Maybe worth to try out.
I'm going to try it out now.
Ur mum is going to try it out. (User was banned for this post ("Unfunny troll" - verynicelady))
Did anyone notice that you could pickup about 5 bobbleheads in the point lookout swamp? They don't show up in your inv though after you get the seeds for the tribal people though.
They're hallucinations, did you even read the description? "Limited Edition Schmault-Tec Bubblehead"
They're hallucinations, did you even read the description? "Limited Edition Schmault-Tec Bubblehead"
You hallucinate in there? Crap I gotta stop cheating my way through boring missions, apparently they aren't that boring.
Shame that it's the New Generation outfit and it's only available to Females. Forgot to reupdate back to 1.7. Gotta download it.
Man it really sucks that my GPU is out I can play for like 1-2 hours and my GPU will crash with pretty pixels and such oh and did I mention I see fuzzy lines moving down the screen in-game like being able to see a screen refresh. And then later on when I try to start the game up later on (30 Minutes later) It will crash in 10- 20 minutes ):. (IT'S NOT A HEAT PROBLEM) I am really really jonesing for Fallout 3 I was enjoying Anchorage and the Pitt too ):
It might be your CPU. But you should still check your GPU and clean the dust out by taking off the cooler.
Oh God, what have I done: What's strange is that it was completely unintentional.
