Atleast they're fun to kill. :D
Anyone know any really good mods? I think I'll buy a temporary membership to FO3 nexus and download shittons of stuff.
Fook 1.6 (changes almost everything in the game) you defiantly need to download this Weapon mod kits MMM RC4 (adds a shit ton of diversity in monsters and adds new ones) Tailor Maid (separates armor pieces in small parts so you can mix and match) FWE (If you want hardcore realism) Vault 89 (best vault player home in my opinion) Explosive entry (comes with FWE but you can download it separately if you don't want FWE) Fellout (cool realistic environment changes) FOIP (a must have for compatibility between mods) Fallout script extender (kind of a hackish program that's needed for mods to run properly) Archive invalidation invalidated (fixes textures glitches in mods) Fallout Mod Manager (highly recommended for lots of mods to run together properly, will also launch Fallout script extender if installed) That's about it You don't need to buy a membership either unless there some extra special features that make it worth it
Well, Premium members get uncapped downloads and a seperate server. And when my max download speed is 2MB/s (Yes, 2 MEGABYTES) you need uncapped downloads.

I wish they fucking improved the engine.
The magazine isn't in the gun.
Looks like he's using the Weapon Mod Kits modded combat shotgun with the extended magazine, which adds two magazines to the bottom of the gun.
I just finished The Velvet Curtain and found it was most awesome. I really liked it!
When I modify my weapons with a laser pointer or a scope the damage is significantly reduced :( [editline]01:03AM[/editline] well that sounds random, forgot to reload the page :s
I hate FOOK, the quality difference on most weapons is just ugh, it's like they're just throwing in everything they can find.
Looks like he's using the Weapon Mod Kits modded combat shotgun with the extended magazine, which adds two magazines to the bottom of the gun.
Also this.
That's the only thing I don't like about FOOK, it seems they go for quanitity over quality, I try to ignore the few weapons that are badly made.
Tailor Maid (separates armor pieces in small parts so you can mix and match)
I've wanted this since the damn game was released because it seem like the armor system was dumbed down from Oblivion. Does this work well?
I've wanted this since the damn game was released because it seem like the armor system was dumbed down from Oblivion. Does this work well?
It adds unigue pieces of armour to perconalise your character with. You can't really kit out your character purely using parts from the mod, they're generally just addons to make your character look more badass. I'd recommend it, there's a piece in the mod to complement every outfit you could possibly think of.
Is anyone having a problem with enclave commander .9? When i call a vertibird transport, and enter, there room is missing, and all there is is a floating bed, crate, NPC, computer, and exit...
Do you have Broken Steel DLC? You need it for .9.
How does it work? Does it break down all the armors into accessories or allow you to add/remove things off your armor?
How does it work? Does it break down all the armors into accessories or allow you to add/remove things off your armor?
It adds parts from armours as accessories, for example the shoulderpads from a T51B can be worn as a clothing item with other armours. For example: He's taken the shoulder pad from the Armoured Vault 101 jumpsuit, and added it as a standalone item wearable with other armour and clothing. The pictures explain more than I can, take a look at the pics on the download page.
How does it work? [editline]08:15PM[/editline] Ninjaaaaaaaaaaa'd [editline]08:17PM[/editline] Also, great job on the thread Generic Monk
I think the tailor maid mod is really cool, but I don't think that 80% of the pieces of clothing should be shoulder pads. I mean you can only wear one at a time.
So the armors are unchanged, and accesseries from the armors are added that can be worn over the other armors?
That's right. You can find modified armors though, like the metal armor (different cup sizes for girls) haha. Chinese stealth suit with no helmet that kind of stuff.
Is there a mod that makes enemies fight each other instead of just me? I hate being attacked by a Protectron, Super Mutants, and Mole Rats all at once because I'm such a high priority target that everybody is ignores each other until I'm gone. [editline]08:57PM[/editline] Seriously, the old Protectron was like, 30 feet away from the HR wielding Super Mutant. Yet they completely ignored each other and attacked me instead (I'm about 50 feet away behind a rock, completely out of sight of either enemy). I died, it was only then that they attacked each other.
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3211 One of them in that helps that.
for those wondering if zeta is worth it, it is, you get to keep the ship after, so it isn't like anchorage.
for those wondering if zeta is worth it, it is, you get to keep the ship after, so it isn't like anchorage.
However some parts are inaccessible afterward. I still enjoyed it though. I enjoyed all of the DLC though.
However some parts are inaccessible afterward. I still enjoyed it though. I'm not sure whose uglier, the Bruiser or the Creeper.
I want Point Lookout so I can fight the inbred mutant rednecks.
