Sabotage the vault, you can go in all you want but all vault dwellers ran for their lives.
Also you can find amata later somewhere in the wasteland being interrogated by enclave.

if you save her, she just runs to her death :(
That sucks. I ran into some other person from the vault. I forget who it was, all I remember was having a nice friendly chat. Is there anyone else you find from the vault?
Is it possible to go back inside of Vault 101? I did that side quest when you can go in a second time but can you go in a third?
I did not try it but you might no clip through the blast door, after all it looks like it's the only thing in your way and you can't open it.
Other than that, no, you won't get back in if you didn't sabotage it
I played Mothership Zeta on a level 29 (and thus a level 30) and on a level 4 (ended up 7) on the same difficulty (normal).
That is definitely something you want to do on a lower level, I swear.

None of the aliens have those shield thingys under level 10 either.
Got a problem with F3...
Every time I go to play, I get a CTD about a minute or so into gameplay. I have Anchorage, the Pitt and Broken Steel loaded, as well as two weapon mods (sniper rifles). It's really annoying because I just got the Pitt and Steel, and I'd like to play them... but I can't.
I've tried turning off the weapons in the Data Files menu, and I've disabled everything down to where only F3 itself was running (no expansions nor mods), and it still does it.
Specs:
AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.0GHz
GF 9800 GT
4 GB RAM
Running everything maxed... could that be an issue? I've read on several boards that the lower your graphics are, the longer it goes without a CTD... but it never did it to me before.
Anyone have a fix, or an idea?

But when people started to disagree with me (despite me stating a fact), I removed it.
Wow spamming random ratings in this thread has actually done something!

Ah, my apologies then.
But the problem isn't the Pitt, it's the fact that I keep getting CTDs when I run around in the Wasteland. If I'm inside, or in a town (say Megaton), I can play indefinitely.

Uh, try the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch? (It fixed my crash issues, though it might not fix yours)

Steam copy. Would it work?
Also, I can't even load a save now... crashes the moment the game loads up. :bang:

All that weeks work, :crying:
I normaly just collect a load of teddys and save the weight by transport vertibirding them into the pitt.
I love the enclave commander mod.
