Oh fuck this game is AWESOME. Though after the GNR quest, when you were supposed to go and talk to [sp]Da Dawg about your Dad[/sp], I went to the door and tried to open it, and my comrades went apeshit on me and killed me. Took me 3 times till I understood that you had to Use the [sp]intercom[/sp]
Doing that as well, my equipment is as follows: 1 10mm Pistol (40 rounds) 1 Hunting Rifle (80 rounds) 1 Colonel Autumn's Uniform (I consoled it, since I chose not to kill Autumn) 2 Purified Waters 4 Nuka-Cola's 25 Stimpaks 8 Squirrels on a Stick (or other similar food sources) 1 Pre-War Hat.
Could you give me a link to the mod that you're using please? I've been looking for one such as that on the Nexus, but unable to find one.
It might be your CPU. But you should still check your GPU and clean the dust out by taking off the cooler.
Yeaah I called BFG and the V-Ram crapped out on me... *Sigh* lucky me. :frown:
Got a problem with F3... Every time I go to play, I get a CTD about a minute or so into gameplay. I have Anchorage, the Pitt and Broken Steel loaded, as well as two weapon mods (sniper rifles). It's really annoying because I just got the Pitt and Steel, and I'd like to play them... but I can't. I've tried turning off the weapons in the Data Files menu, and I've disabled everything down to where only F3 itself was running (no expansions nor mods), and it still does it. Specs: AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3.0GHz GF 9800 GT 4 GB RAM Running everything maxed... could that be an issue? I've read on several boards that the lower your graphics are, the longer it goes without a CTD... but it never did it to me before. Anyone have a fix, or an idea?
That sounds like a corrupted save, load another one, and see if the problem persists.
Any tips on how to do the quest when you're supposed to get radiation sickness?
Any tips on how to do the quest when you're supposed to get radiation sickness?
Uh, go and get radiation sickness?
Any tips on how to do the quest when you're supposed to get radiation sickness?
In Megaton, go to the bathroom building and drink from the toilet. If you didn't know, you can hold down the use button when drinking to continuously... drink without having to press it multiple times. That's how I do it nowadays.

I stopped paying attention and when I looked back I was almost at 1,000 rads.

Be creative. Stand outside the entrance of Vault 87.

Was anyone else disappointed by the lack of a Super Mutant Behemoth in Vault 87? Or the fact that the Failed FEV Experiment isn't an NPC (that would have scared me more than the Centaurs).

Or the fact that the Failed FEV Experiment isn't an NPC (that would have scared me more than the Centaurs).
Behemoths are FAR too large, and yes, I wish Failed FEV Experiments were alive.
Well I was hoping for a large open area like an Atrium or an Auditorium, to find a Behemoth in. That would have been awesome.
Isn't there a huge battle the Talon's vs a Big ass Behemoth in the Capitol Building?
Yep
Isn't there a huge battle the Talon's vs a Big ass Behemoth in the Capitol Building?
I knew about Talon Company and the Super Mutants, but I hadn't seen a Behemoth. Perhaps I'll head over to check it out.

Then I learned it was a bunch of cnetaurs, then I was just like oh. Blam blam. Bethesda i am dissapointment.
On the topic of Behemoths, will Fawkes die easily if I bring him in to battle with one? I just wanna know before fighting any
On the topic of Behemoths, will Fawkes die easily if I bring him in to battle with one? I just wanna know before fighting any
He should be fine. On another note, has anyone ever kicked so much ass that they sent the enemy running for their pitiful lives? I did that earlier. I went to open an old mailbox outside of an old house. But when I did, it exploded, suddenly I find myself being attacked by a group of 6 Raiders. 2 on the second floor, 1 in the house, 1 to the right of the house, 1 on a road bridge behind me, and one under the bridge. I took out a Rocket Launcher and blew the folks out of the second floor, the blast also severely wounded the man on the first floor, as well as breaking his gun. Then I took out the woman to the right of the house with my Laser Pistol. Ran into the house and put the sorry son of a bitch out of his misery. Then going back outside, I kill the one on the bridge with my scoped .44, and the one below with a grenade. 3 more Raiders show up in the distance, to the left of the bridge, only to be intercepted by and Brotherhood Outcast Patrol. They didn't stand a chance. So then I go head under the bridge and turn right, following up the bank until I'm at the entrance, where I find 4 Talon Company Mercenaries in a sort of tactical formation (2 man groups, about 10 feet apart, crouching and moving toward the house). I toss a grenade over the wall and Boom! 2 down, another grenade kills 1 more. Then the last man, tosses down his shotgun and runs the opposite direction, screaming in terror. I never saw any hostile do that (let alone Talon Company), and thought I would share it.
Thanks, guys. Means a ton. What happened was that I uploaded the file once, and Buddah, being an old faggot, closed my mod down for no particular reason at all. I take it he's one of those insecure "young people play this game so I'll shut down any offensive mods that call people's shitty weaboo characters out regardless if the mod is set to adults only," fuckers, and I won't have retards closing down my shit just because they're not intelligent enough to grasp how badass my simple mod really is. I reuploaded it, but this time called Buddah out on being a shitty admin (plus loaded possibly the greatest fo3 screenshot of all time on to my new page) which probably made him rage in to oblivion IP banning me from their site isn't going to get rid of me either, haha, so they can try all they want anyway, this isn't a glorified facepunch mod. this mod was only posted here because I noticed you guys had an FO3 thread that was lacking badassery
The moderators on the Nexus sites are shit, don't even bother uploading epic stuff there.
What dlc do you think i should get? I have enough points for 3 but i can buy another 1000 points so i can get 1 more.
Any tips on how to do the quest when you're supposed to get radiation sickness?
wtf is wrong with you? You did go to preschool or did you stop in kindergarden? Nearly everything in this game gives you the rads and yet you come to a forum and ask how it's done. It's a miracle you learned reading and writing to even use the forum
What dlc do you think i should get?
Definitely get Broken Steel, it makes the game so much better, since it gets rid of the fucking horrible ending and actually lets you continue after you beat the game.
Indeed. Along with that you should also get Point Lookout. The main quest in it may not be that great, but it gives you a whole new place to explore and the enemies are pretty tough.
