Same, but i guessed that it was because of PL, because that's where i was when i turned level 16. I'm going to try advlevel to 18 and see if that helps :gonk:
FOOK added it so if you disintegrate someone with a plasma weapon, it leaves a skeleton as well as a goo pile. (You still have to loot the goo pile though to get the stuff)
So it's more like the Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 one?
Where can I find energy weapons early in the game?
I found a laser pistol in the Super Duper Mart (I was doing the food part of the Wasteland Survival Guide).
This game really is great, I don't know why I let that VATS bug stop me playing it. (That hasn't been fixed yet, has it?)
What bug?
And I found a laser pistol in the SDM, too
What bug?

probably the anti-aliasing one, performance drop when in vats or something.
Just beat the game, had Very Evil karma, got probably the baddest ending possible, hahahaha.
What bug?

The long pause between initiating VATS and actually being able to target anything.
And there's also some annoying slowdown sometimes. But I'm not even using AA.
Ah that bug.. Guess it's still in. It's a bit annoying but it's not all the time....

Meh, I uninstalled FOOK 2 due to the crashes, low fps, and the non-lore friendly item retextures. I mean honestly, Tide and Mr. T Sugar Bombs?
Yeah, I just completely reinstalled Fallout3 to get rid of FOOK and FOOK2. Kinda fucked up my game :keke:
Is Fook 2 any good? I'm worried about installing and redoing my entire fallout installation for something that may be completely buggy and unplayable
Is Fook 2 any good? I'm worried about installing and redoing my entire fallout installation for something that may be completely buggy and unplayable
Last time I played FOOK, It got really buggy and I got pissed, so I uninstalled it, and tried to make something more open.

All of FOOK's Skeletons glow green afterwords. But I guess its the same.

the mod WAS out for about ten minutes, before Buddah, once again, removed it

For some reason GNR isn't appearing in my radio list at all, and no matter where I go it never picks up the signal. Anyone know what's happening? I can post a mod list if necessary.
New page wooo

And thus, the Brotherhood Hunt has begun.
This was GNR, know of any other Brotherhood Strongholds?
In the Pitt..
[sp]Who should I choose to side with, Ashur or Werhner?[/sp]

[sp]Ashur, of course. He's a Means To An End necessary evil (he wants to get a cure for Radiation Sickness via his daughter so he doesn't have to get slaves.) All Werhner wants to do is change the current leadership so he's on top.[/sp]

Great. I read about him so I kind of spoiled it for myself, but I wasn't sure what the outcome was. Thanks.
How does the Mesmatron / Slaver Collar work? Can you enslave people from any faction / race / gender, or only certain types? And I heard you have to use it on some innocent people to complete the quest. Is it alright if I just get the collar and use it on raiders without every using it on the innocents on the HVT list?

The mesmetron kinda randomly works, also no the collars are just for like a few specific people
So I can't enslave raiders and the like?
Yes you can, what Kite_shugo said was untrue, you have to do that guy's quest sure, but after that you can enslave anyone. (well, nearly)

Alright cool. Kinda hypocritical considering I killed about 20 slavers so a group of about 5 slaves can claim the Lincoln Memorial, but whatever.
[editline]04:00AM[/editline]
Just enslaved a Raider, but I must say it's a huge pain in the ass. I had to reload like, 8 times before it worked (previously, all it would to is make him notice me, or blow up his head). Is their a mod that increases the chances of it working so I don't have to screw around with it over and over again.

This please.
Operation Anchorage is such a piece of shit.
:( If it weren't for the awesome shit you get afterwards, I'd completely regret getting it.

Is it really bad? I just bought it :/
Is it really bad? I just bought it :/
Sad, but true. The only thing I found worth the money was all the loot you got afterwards. The quest itself was such a pain in the arse for me. Crashes. :argh:
Is it really bad? I just bought it :/
It's not bad. It's a single quest, and a very short quest at that (compared to the quests already in the game). There's a few new items, nothing special. I felt it was alright, but should have been in the game to begin with.
Now, that's from the perspective of someone who played it for free at a friend's house. If I had actually paid for that pile of shit, I'd be pissed. It's not worth any amount of money whatsoever.
But overall, it's not bad.
