God of War is the God of War of God of War clones.
Lol at ps3 gow fan boys. greek and roman gods aren't real they're just fairy tales the devil on the other hand eh, probably more chance of being real because of evil and shit and is just much more realistic. So i vote for dantes inferno because he's much more of a badass, he's actually fighting these demons and kills satan ( Have you seen how big he is in the game ) Instead of fighting fake fairytales.
Above poster puts people who have a 360 to shame. I own(ed) and prefer the PS/2/3 but still found DI a lot better. [editline]06:51AM[/editline] I just read your entire post, I am dumbfounded by how stupid that sounded.
So basiclly Kratos will kick ass right? Let's see if Kratos vs Dante. Who will win in the fight? Between the cahin and that grim reaper thing
Having never played DI, I can't actually judge this in a fair way, but I will try. Now, I only played the first 2 GoW games. I have some serious gripes with these games, maybe because I came fresh off DMC3 when I first tried them. My main gripe is the combat system. Compare it to DMC. It is really stiff when compared. You get 3 combos to work with.... ONLY 3?!?!? And this is NOT freeform, like in DMC. You get Plume, "Super" plume and the regular square combo. Then you get really weird moves, like Hyperion charge (GoW2). They integrated the dodge, and the only reason I can actually win any fights at all are due to being able to dodge like that, since it gives you an overly large amount of I-frames to work with. I did, however, like the selection of extra weapons in the second game (Most recently played, so bare with me). Hammer was all power, Spear was a great looking weapon with some decent combos on it. The Blade is a bonus weapon, and it behaves like one. Second gripe, the "WHAT JUST HAPPENED"-moments, as I like to call them. These usually come in puzzles, you know the moment where you have no idea at all what to do. In my case, I usually have these going during (Nearly) every puzzle, and because of one reason, you have no idea what is supposed to be used in the puzzle, unless you go over to every object you can possibly see, and check if you can interact with it. Compare this to the few puzzles in DMC, you can always see what you are supposed to do. All in all, I don't really hate GoW, but I've got some major gripes with it. Not really a bad game, but it could've been done better, IMO.
GoW is way better.
The emotion Kratos seems capable of feeling is anger. Dante can at least feel something else.
Put yourself in Kratos' shoes, how would you feel?
Sorrow. [editline]03:39AM[/editline] Not infinite rage.
Sorrow. [editline]03:39AM[/editline] Not infinite rage.
He has to be pissed otherwise he can't gos SSJ "Let the rage of the titans fill your blades" "Let the rage of Olympus fuel your blades" etc :downs:
Lets see... I guess the main tiebreaker would be this... Which is stronger; Satan or Hades? Or are they essentially the same person? [editline]12:21AM[/editline] Well seeing as Kratos fights the god of gods, I'd have to stick with Kratos. [editline]12:22AM[/editline] You might say Zeus is... THE GOD FATHER :fuckyou:
This poll lacks a 'neither' option.
This poll lacks a 'neither' option.
Because neither is not an option [editline]07:23AM[/editline]
Lets see... THE GOD FATHER :fuckyou:
Hades isn't a archetype of a Satan character. He's just the god of the underworld. Satan is just the worst of hell, he is a prisoner, he is being punished. It's only known as "his" domain because he's a pretty big part of Hell. And Zeus isn't the father of all gods, just the ruler. He created a lot of Demigods though.
