Too bad the walking is still the absolute worst ever.
Too bad the walking is still the absolute worst ever.
Carry less weapons. Problem solved.
The index file in the AAL folder is fucked. Fixing it yourself is relatively easy seeing as there is no real coding involved in the index file.
Cept I deleted my whole CC folder and reinstalled it but still get the same error.
show a screenie of the new error seeing as the last one was dealing specifically with AAL.

After I reinstalled.
Why the fuck is it getting an error for an RTE you don't even have?
Oh that. That was numgun, he's no longer a dev because what cortex command is becoming isn't what he wanted to make it into.
He also don't know what growth hormones do.

The AI is pretty bad at the moment, but Lua AI is due next build, so expect improvements.
kay then
I love this game, love making own shit for it, its hilarious for LAN parties if you're got 3 xbox controllers and a big screen.
Real recommendation.
Takes a lot of processing power though, this game makes my PC lag more than Crysis and Crysis 2 together.
This is so fun to mess around with.
I always used to love playing with my brother. One of us would have one of the huge AAL mechs with a chain gun and a rocket launcher while the other would be some fast guy with an energy sword or some precise weapon that could actually take down the AAL mech. Giant guy won 9 times out of 10, but when he didn't it was always an occasion.
Really hope they finish this one day. Seems like I remember them saying they will "never" add online MP to it but if they did that'd be amazing.
Devote one core completely to CC, and have rest of your programs on the others
People have already managed to mod in a very basic, very buggy version of multiplayer so I wouldn't discount it as a possibility.
It's mainly an issue of bandwith, as the game has so many objects with physics applied to them at all times.
Guys, this game is fucking awesome.
One problem though.
I FUCKING SUCK AT IT.
I usually get my ass handed to me the second the enemy starts sending shit tons of dropships and rockets up my ass and sends in reinforcements and it just goes downhill from there.
Any tips for a new player to not fail miserably on cake difficulty?

Cheat. Make yourself a gun that costs negative gold.

And fires dropships.
Revolver cannons and auto shotguns.
It is so much fun to take those rocket drop pods and use them to kill people with.

I love this game
That 3rd lp was pretty entertaining.
All 3 made me want to play :)
Cortex Command is the only game where stuffing five tons of crabs into a cardboard box is not only physically possible, it's also economically viable and down right tactical.
Can anyone point me towards some awesome mods for this? :buddy:

If anyone survives, do the same with molotovs.

I usually pack a few stick grenades in with the crabs. Ultimate frag grenade. Too bad it can kill everybody on the map. Everybody.
I'd buy this if it was cheaper. They really should update the demo(by update I mean, well, update the base. Doesn't need more stuff, but it's buggy). In the full game, do jetpacks force you in one direction and make you unable to turn in midair?

Maybe wait for the next Humble Bundle? I'm sure they will have the old games too.
