Cortex Command - The Game Where The Developer Uses Valve Time

What's actually happening with this game? I bought it 3 years ago and it's barely even changed. And it's really damn quiet, the Dev doesn't say much about the situation.

Well, the simplest way to fix this is too reinstall CC.
Care to upload aborscreen.bmp ?
I got this as a gift during one of the Humble Indie things, but my key won't work for some reason so I can't play it anymore.
I miss stuffing every crab I could find into a box and dropping it onto incoming troops.

Already reinstalled, didn't work
can't find the abortscreen
Well, I guess you'll find the biggest help on the official forums.
The Op should say, the final version is b24. Because Data isn't going to update shit.
First, the current version for download is B26.
Second, it's still in development, even if updates are slow.
cortex command would be my favorite game ever if it had more content, but I can wait
At this point it's a case of "too little, too late".
Facepunch has moved on to bigger and better games like Battlefield and Tribes. At least with those we don't have to wait months for some progress.
Yeah, with Battlefield you don't have to wait months for a new update, you have to wait years for a $60 update.
I remember this game. Got it with one of the Humble Bundle's. Played it for about 5 mins and just uninstalled it.

Why would you do that?
When I played it, mind you that this was like over 6 months ago or whenever HiB 3 was, there really wasn't anything to do except kill enemies. It probably got better which I highly doubt.
so, good maps/mods?
I remember there was a planet map and you could get debris from shit into orbit, also harpoon cannons and shit..

Well, it's pretty normal that games have a main activity.
I mean, people usually don't go "I didn't like Need For Speed because all I could do was driving"

This one is OP as fuck, really fun to play around with your enemies.

I really like the feel of those weapons. I used the Mod Manager to make only Ronins with Old West weapons to spawn. It was really fun.

Ignore the WIP, most content is working fine. It's all overpowered as fuck, but horribly fun nonetheless. It works for B26. You need to download the "Mac user" version though, since the other links are down. Theres no difference between those though.
Well, and there are obviously loads of other mods in the "Mod releases" subforum all those linked mods are in.
