Counter Strike 2 is the absolute LAST thing I wanna see.

Anyone else wish they could aim down the sights in CS? I'm tired of seeing a well made gun and only being able to hip fire it.

I find this fishy as CSS is made by the l4d team, and portal is made bu the portal team. So why would one need to be released over the other?

^^because one team is working or portal 2, l4d2, and css2. The rest are on EP3, because its going to be that epicly awesome.

I would E-Mail Portal 2 if I could be asked. The thing is I had a genuinley good time playing Portal multiple times, but I have had far less fun playing CS: S. I prefer singleplayer games to multiplayer games, and I would love to see them continue the Portal storyline, maybe get some history on Aperture Science, and possibly some more shit slinging at Black Mesa. There isn't anything VALVe could do to CS to make it innovative and fresh, as almost everything that can be done in a modern, semi-realistic, multiplayer FPS has been done by others. And just upping the visuals would be a bit of a rip off. Sure they could add more modes (maybe a proper TDM), but it would still be the same game, and still have the pain in the ass "srs bzns" community we know today.

It would be a massive work overload to have one team work on three games at once.

I'd honestly say a new Counter Strike would be best sooner. Not only will it last longer, but it'd be good to have something a bit fresh. CSS was a bit meh because it was basically a conversion from one engine to another, so hopefully a new Counter-Strike will change that up a bit. Portal was amazing, nothing against that, but I will always prefer long lived multiplayer games over once-off single player games, no matter how great they are.

Generally people who are good at CSS enjoy it. Whilst ones who aren't hate it.

A CSS2 could be phenomenal. CSS defined online FPS games, so I think that a sequel would be amazing.

I hope they implement country and age filters in css2, i.e: "disable german players" and "disable players under the age of 15" And seeing as they wont, my vote goes for Portal 2

CSS2 would be interesting. But I want Portal 2 so much more.
