Did anyone else find the Americans disturbing in Generals? The guys were always talking about "protecting freedom" and "doing the right thing". They reminded me of Space Marines.

In Generals does it matter which campaign you do first? I know Zero Hour had a slight story between doing them all in order. But this China mission is really grinding my gears.

Just tried the mission again for the 5th time, no matter what I do I always get fucked over. This fucking sucks.

I can tell you this honestly right now : I've only ever played like 6 missions in the whole command and conquer franchise. The rest of the time was just skirmishes. I literally played skirmishes non stop. Shockwave has always been better then Contra. It took the bad things of Contra and made them balanced and fun to play against.

I always dug in as much as posible at the chokepoint by the small GLA base at the beginning. A few nuke cannons tasked to autofire just beyond the range of you defenses will do wonders. Also, reinstalling Generals & Zero Hour :pcgaming:
