Owning Both Ps3 and PC has advantages, see my pc cant run GTAIV, and i wanted to get LBP, Motorstorm, Uncharted and MGS4. OrangeBox, in my opinion has to be on the PC no doubt.

Different genres. For instance, First person and third person shooter games are always better on PC. Aiming feels more comfortable because your aim can be precise thanks to the mouse acting like an extension of your arm. However, racing games are usually better on consoles because of the analog sticks giving you better control of the car. Same can be said for side scrollers in some cases.

Which is why you buy a gamepad for your PC.
Although it's still good to own a console for games which are shittily ported and/or exclusives (Metal Gear Solid comes to mind).
