Besides, the American campaign was a fucking joke.

In Final Fantasy II, four out of nine main protagonists die. In Final Fantasy V, Galuf died ( Even through that was one of the most badass deaths ever, taking holy, flare and meteor in the face and not dying. ). In VI, Kefka killed General Leo. So, it was nothing new. Also, I had very funny image comparing the plots of VI and VII, but I lost it.
