Pretty much. I had World Tour for the Wii the week it came out, and got Rock Band 2 for Christmas. I haven't played World Tour since.
:Dawkins102:
Until now I've stayed out of the whole "LOL JONAS BROTHERS SUCK OMGLOL" shit, but after hearing that.. oh god.. it's just.. awful..
Rock Band 2 = Automatically better because of Gorillaz and Coheed and Cambria.
It makes me mad that GH:WT got a better Dream Theater song. Sure, Panic Attack is great and all, and the Constant Motion DLC was great as well, but I fucking want my Pull Me Under on RB2 :(
Rock Band 2 = Automatically better because of Gorillaz and Coheed and Cambria.
Wait when did Rock Band 2 get Gorillaz DLC? [editline]02:26AM[/editline] OH SHIT. Autobuy for me. I have 600 Wii points, conveniently. [editline]02:30AM[/editline] Harmonix has won my heart. [editline]02:44AM[/editline] Speaking of Rock Band, I just got around to downloading Still Alive (I've got it for the Wii, so we just got it) and FC'd my sight read. :D
Del possesses the drummer in the game whenever you play Clint Eastwood. I really didn't like World Tour, I'm just happy when there are threads about music games on FP. :(
Haha that's so lame. Guitar Hero 5 announces Feel Good Inc. as a song, and harmonix goes woosh and adds it to the DLC. Well I don't mind, I like both games.
The funny part is that "Feel Good Inc." is the worst in the pack. I love the fuck out of "Demon Days" too...
Using the word EMO to describe types of music you don't like, doesn't make you cool, sorry to tell ya.
I'm pretty sure it's an actual genre of music.
If we're going by that definition, Van Halen is emo to me.
Haha that's so lame. Guitar Hero 5 announces Feel Good Inc. as a song, and harmonix goes woosh and adds it to the DLC. Well I don't mind, I like both games.
Except Harmonix don't do shitty charts.
It fails because you cant use the xbox 360 controller on it (xbox version) On all the other versions you didnt actually need to use the guitar. I got it a day after it came out i havent touched it since.
Except Harmonix don't do shitty charts.
This is true, guitar != keyboard.
I'm probably getting it. 130 euros for the entire package is a steal!

Constant Motion and Panic Attack are fun on everything. Train Of Thought/Metropolis Pt. 2/BC&SL DLC would be mad though. Hell, any DT DLC would be mad.
The customization in this game is awesome.
what the fuck is that
If we're going by that definition, Van Halen is emo to me.
wait what
I'm pretty sure it's an actual genre of music.
Yea but he said something about most of the songs in the game are emo, whereas only about 3 songs are ACTUALLY "emo".
Just played this and GH:Metallica at a friends place the other night, his drum set broke, so we had 3 people singing, 1 guitar and 1 bass. Yelling out SCCCCCCRRREEEEEEEEAAAAAMMM AIIIIMMMM FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRREEEEE a heap of times is good for the throat....good times Also nice colour scheme goin there Nato
I bet the PC version is horribly unoptimized like GH3 on the PC was.
I bet the PC version is horribly unoptimized like GH3 on the PC was.
My friend got it just last week. Right you are.
Yea but he said something about most of the songs in the game are emo, whereas only about 3 songs are ACTUALLY "emo".
Emo/Alternative rock, gay music which is way too structured. The Enemy Modest Mouse 30 Seconds to Mars Jimmy Eat World Paramore Tokio Hotel Interpol The Living End (I know rockabilly whatever doesn't stop them from being GAY) Rise Against Bullet for my Valentine BRMC Linkin Park (holy ass)
Modest Mouse and Jimmy Eat World are good. And I like Paramore.

I will give you the fact that most of those bands suck massive amounts of ass. But structure makes good music. The problem with music today is lack of structure. it sounds jumbled and messy. I think the problem with these bands though is that they have too clear a structure. What makes some great bands great is their ability to alter and modify structure creatively, not deserting it. I actually really like this game, despite how butt-hurt everyone else is about it. I will admit that Rock Band is way better, but it's a good alternative. Also, The Living End, Interpol and to a certain extent, BRMC are all pretty good. Not great
Emo/Alternative rock, gay music which is way too structured. Rise Against
Whoa whoa whoa, stop RIGHT there, Rise Against is NOT emo.
Pull me under is still an incredibly awesome song.
