There's only room for ONE Taco around here, bub!
Theres about 4
Maybe some of the values for bronze are messed - could be why bronze colossi are nigh invincible.
Not quite. Made a Colossus out of Granite and the damn thing wouldn't die either. I think it's their inability to bleed, suffer internal injuries, die from massive damage, etc.

The new material system just fucked it up, it's very unlikely for you to even leave a scratch on a bulk that's 5 times of your size and entirely of bronze with an iron sword.
Child labour
You can make the matrix in arena mod. Yeah, making a grand master wrestler/kicker/striker/fighter human against some clone elves. [editline]05:21PM[/editline] fighting on top of a huge tower [editline]05:22PM[/editline] and give the human some kind of lamp, or a pole. [editline]05:22PM[/editline] I'm gonna try that now, gonna get back with results. [editline]05:23PM[/editline] with an adamantine maul
Why are the stupid dwarfs not sleeping in their rooms, but in the hospital while they are not even sick or wounded.
How do I equip new armor/weapons in adventurer?
I can't wait until this gets updated and a few of the bugs fixed...this military training thing is getting ridiculous, in two years they haven't trained enough to even be able to leave a mark on a single goblin. Not to mention the squads STILL never move together. I'd even say they were more coherent in the last version than in this one.
Yep, grand master neo failed against an army of elves. I must improve some statistics
I don't think the dwarves train until you have 10 of them, because whenever I hover over the 'Train' order in the military schedule, it says it requires a minimum of 10 dwarves.
Holy shit, he left 3 elves out of 40 alive, but he still died though wich is sad what is the best weapon in DF?

Edit the order, press the minus key until it is at 2 or 1, and then copy and paste the order all through the year to make 'em train. Also set your barracks options to Training, and also set the squad's alert to Active/Training. EDIT: razor sharp, use a bladed weapon like an axe or a sword. Dismemberment is the best way.
Watching two dragons duel is just like watching DBZ.
Aaand there goes my fort. Five goblins killed my entire (untrained hurp) military and went into my fortress before my traps were set.
The fact that gobbos are a bigger threat now is good.
I'm coming back to dwarf fortress, I thought I may get a little reason why. So, last night while I was asleep I thought about dwarf fortress and about how a month ago my fortress was being overrun by goblins, and in my dreams I was being chased by ASCII gs running at me with ASCII swords and spears, while other ascii dwarves were being killed all around me, and then I realized, as A goblin hacked me to bits (As seen in the anouncments window) that I had been missing out on the greatest game EVAR. I still hear the screams. The screams. :ohdear:
Holy shit, he left 3 elves out of 40 alive, but he still died though wich is sad what is the best weapon in DF?
Slade is more effective as a maul than adamantine.

Blarg, the Recruit is sitting around in the barracks trying to organize a sparring session while all the other military dwarves sit by the well.
Why are the stupid dwarfs not sleeping in their rooms, but in the hospital while they are not even sick or wounded.
Go to the bedroom that you made that you want a dwarf to sleep in. Press 'Q' and hover your cursor over the bed. Select "Make bedroom." From here you can have any dwarf come and claim the bed as their own. (Just exit the menu), or you can manually tell which dwarf gets the bed. Seems to work better if there is a door to the room.
My military doesn't want to stop waiting for their training. I set them to inactive and they're stll waiting.
Dragons can survive lava? Because two are fighting in arena mode, and they kinda fell off the path and into the lava. And they are still fighting.
Blarg, the Recruit is sitting around in the barracks trying to organize a sparring session while all the other military dwarves sit by the well.
Sparring is super deadly because for some reason they don't automatically pick training weapons. My swordsdwarf first lost his ability to stand because of a sensory nerve injury in his right foot, and when he healed he got his head lopped off instantly when he came to the next spar session.
Merchants are here, way behind on goods production. But on the brightside, my recruits are training.
Sparring is super deadly because for some reason they don't automatically pick training weapons. Considering there is no target, all I can imagine them doing is swinging their swords and shields around wildly.

The militia commander isn't doing anything while the other two military dwarves train. They're all in the same squad, and the militia commander is the squad leader. Anything that could be happening?
Mine never spar anyway, and if they did, it would be deadly as the dwarves have iron/steel weapons in the SAME HAND as their training ones...
Same here, they just do the individual drill thing. They are gaining skills, although I have to say it's more fun to see them battle each other.
My soldiers are stuck....In the bedroom
