If he's organizing it he should begin in a while
Is there a way to stop immigrants, I am having troubles with my 50 residents now. more then 20 are always idle or going insane.

how many dwarfs do you have?
need help with this
Bug, you need to create new fortress. Had it once.
Hmm, is adventure mode really stuttery for anyone else?
How do you realease animals from cages?
Oh and Parakon, I had that issue as well, I could not find a way to fix it so I just abandoned the fortress and restarted.
In this new version i've actually noticed that connecting levers to cages just seems to deconstruct the cage....without letting the creature out.

fuck you
Hmm, is adventure mode really stuttery for anyone else?
It isn't on the openGL engine yet so adventure mode is laggy.
What do I edit in the raws to make it so my Dwarfs don't have any hunger?
I just strangled a Dragon to death while my pikeman friend broke every bone, artery, and muscle in it's body. I love adventure mode.
Well, I got my military to train, but they're all doing individual combat drills instead of sparring. :saddowns:
Just got back from vacation, downloading the new version now. Is it buggy at all?

I don't consider something "buggy" if it only has a few minor glitches.
If I kill goblin priests, or a demon controlling the town, will all humans hate me?
its got thousands of bugs/glitches, including farms having to be irrigated no matter where they are, vermin parts not rotting, etc.
Training is bugged, my dwarves don't seem to put bones into refuse piles, the pathfinding is messed up...
I'm still glad he released it though.

My dwarves are taking threads from the elves (That I haven't bought) and putting them in bags in my hospital. :v:

That's good. Individual combat drills give the same kind of exp, but with no risk to their health.
One of my guys was a competent fighter and through individual training now he's a high master fighter.
My military leader is wearing all masterfully designed armor. Awww yeaaaah, legendary armorer.
It has bugs, but I'm having fun. This release lets me get used to all the new stuff, I just won't start any major fortresses
Question involving armor/weapons: Are you able to assign specific pieces of armor to someone? It got annoying trying to play a guessing game as to whether or not a soldier will wear a suit of Masterpiece Steel armor, or a suit of standard iron armor.
Also, when a soldier gets attached/used to a certain weapon/suit of armor, do they gain any bonuses with using it? I'd imagine treating "that special sword" like an extension of the arm would aid in combat.

I have a legendary miner, fisherdwarf and carpenter.

Yes to the first, same with weapons and all other pieces of equipment a soldier would use. It's very helpful. Can finally make sure it's my grand master swordsman and armor user commanding dwarf that gets my set of steel armor instead of the wrestler walking out to get killed.
As for the latter, I'm not sure.
No one answered my question, so I will ask again.
What do I edit the the raws to make it so my dwarfs don't have to eat anything?
So, how do I use a tileset on the new version?

:byodood:
Well, I hope my military can kill it...
[editline]09:35PM[/editline]
He ran into a cage trap...
Now I have something to put into my arena. :v:

You caught Fabio?
I love my militia commander. He's a grand master fighter and is wearing 14400 gold worth of armor (he's missing a left gauntlet, and his mail shirt is only exceptional)!
Anyone know how to activate people in the military in the new version? I have people in a squad but not sure how to make them active
If you just want them to train, honestly, just leave them inactive. They train pretty much 24/7 anyway (if they have a weapon skill), and they wont' starve to death waiting for a demonstration.
Also, 2 of my military are former legendary wood crafters, and another just went into a mood.
What is the tilesize for this:

[editline]06:54PM[/editline]
Eurgh.. When I launch the game i can't see anything, the window is just filled with black. :(
