Also, is Mike Mayday's the only tileset available so far? Or are there any others? Even then, I'm strangely finding the lack of images for the Dwarves (and every other creature) oddly satisfying, is there any tilesets for this version that I can install that would only alter the appearance of minerals/walls/etc.

After six dwarves died via suicide brigade tactics, the alliphant retreated a few steps, and then [I]exploded.[/I] As the corpse fell among the others of the dwarves, those topside immediately became filled with dwarven rage, and then began pummeling each other until every last person was dead. Best. Game. [I]Ever.[/I]

New version is fucking awesome.
Only bad thing I've found so far is that wrestling is utterly useless in fortress mode. One of my wrestlers attacked a gazelle, knocked it out and kept trying to kill it until he became a legendary wrestler, then died of thirst.
Now a giant toad came out of the cavern so I just floored off the stairway to my fortress. Not opening until I get an actual military... I'm glad they weren't demons. :ohdear:
I want to start a thread about that fortress of mine, Lakesilvered. WE SURVIVED A GCS WITH ONLY TWO DEATHS AND MINOR CASUALTIES. Our miner pickaxed it's brains out of its head after it bit him on the thigh. Then a planter, enraged at the webs all over his farm pulled it into three pieces.
One of my new migrants is a High Master Potash Maker.

They try to finish their work before eating or drinking. It's more realistic when thinking about it. You just don't suddenly go and eat when you're about to fight 15 goblins and 5 trolls.
I'm new to DF modding, would it be possible to make a workshop that can create controllable (well, as controllable as a dwarf... Commandable, I suppose) living things? I'm thinking of making a Robo-Dwarf that doesn't need to eat or sleep or drink, but takes a lot of resources, is stupid, but mines well. Possible?

Touché :v: (did I use it right?) Anyhow, I like it. Now the miners actually mine everything before taking the long route from the mine back home to get food and water. I don't think the negative "thirst/hunger" thought affects them that much either.

Possible?[/QUOTE] Explore the workshop raws, I'm not sure if you can create living creatures, but if you can, then yes, that kind of creature is possible. It would most likely be like a golem than robot, though.
One of my militia recruits became completely paralyzed... No records in the fight log. He just sits in one of the beds in the barracks... all day. He has probably been there for a good 2 months... He wont starve either
