Yes there was, you unlocked them at the Target range

The target range wasn't in the basement.

Yea thats right, I haven't played the game in ages so a bit rusty on the layout haha.

Yes, only a few of them.
Why doesn't anyone play perfect dark source anymore? :C
I have great news.
It might not be GoldenEye, but Rare is almost set to release Perfect Dark on the Xbox Live Arcade. Earlier today, at Microsoft's X10 event, it was announced that Perfect Dark would be among the four Arcade games released in March as a part of the Xbox Live Arcade Block Party. Now, we have both a video of Microsoft Game Studios' Ken Lobb playing the game and a confirmation that the game will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
In the video, Lobb mentions that the project started about a year ago. He also discusses a number of key features that Perfect Dark fans will be ecstatic to hear about -- not only does the game now support up to 8 players, but everything you'd expect to be online (co-op, counter-op, and competitive multiplayer) is on Live. The game runs at 1080p and 60 frames per second, and controls much like the original game; the yellow c-buttons have essentially just been mapped to the right analog stick.
Judging by how well the game seems to be playing in the video, combined with a very reasonable price point and online support, it looks like Perfect Dark is going to be a must buy for classic FPS fans when it's released next month.

Holy shit, I never thought I'd live to see the day. Especially since they ditched Goldeneye, I thought this was out of luck as well.
In all honesty, this game is the reason I can't enjoy first person shooters as much as I did before. Nothing nowadays is anything near as good as this both singleplayer and multiplayer wise. The combat simulator was ahead of its time and I still can't find any games that reach that level of customizability.
"Spartan" and "Duty Calls!" Control Schemes. haha awesome.
Great, I now have a single reason to want an xbox.
I'll just get my friend to buy it and leech off of him.

Yes yes yes YES. Shit just got real. My friend and I have been hoping to see a news update about a release date for several months. We couldn't be more excited.

yes! totally!
Isn't the picture below "Devastator" the cyclone?
yes. But i haven't changed it.
I spent most of my childhood at my friends house playing the multiplayer. We would go against a good amount of the meatheads (is that what the bots were called? It was something meat). Good times good times.

MeatSim
massive nostalgia trip
This was THE best FPS ever. So many countless memories. Zero wasn't too bad either but the first way better.
Zero sucked.
Yeah zero was awful, really insulted the PD franchise.
Only reason i got it was due to the name, i got the special edition () has a nice case other then that, meh.
Zero sucked.
I couldn't believe they fucked it up that badly. I mean, they managed to make the singleplayer unfun and basically removed the combat simulator. I really would have been happy if it was the same game as Perfect Dark but running on Zero's engine. It looked sexy as hell.
I hooked up my old N64 and played Perfect Dark again, and literally could only handle a few bot matches. The constant fps chug is pretty distracting, and found myself bored fairly fast. Hopefully the 60fps of this release and live multiplayer will help it out, as nostalgia can only go so far.
I don't understand why the changed Joanna's look for this remake though. She looks completely different.
Updated models and textures, i don't think they wanted to drastically change it. But it had to match the rest of the port.

I know but it's so drastically different from what she used to look like. Maybe I'm just being picky but something about her new look just rubs me the wrong way.
I never played it and I'm sure if I did now, I'd think it's shit.
Which is unfortunate; But it's the way nostalgia works.
Not really, I make my CoD/Halo friends play it and they thoroughly enjoy it, even though they've never even heard of it before.
Then perhaps I'll try the trial. I did play it a loooooong time ago but I don't think I really played enough for me to really get an opinion on it.
