When hunting should I try to stick to easy kills right outside of PA so I get more loot or harder enemies that take more shots but drop more/better loot?
try to balance it, ie if you kill mobs before they even touch you, then I'd step it up a bit. But try to make it so you don't have to heal in combat.
Someone just gave me an item to sell now i have 9.42 PED, what should I get?

Equip the gun and the ammo should automatically be used.

The Opallo is a great weapon :)
Well, sometimes you get bad luck with hunting, it's just one of those hit or miss kind of professions. On the weekend I lost a lot of PED and was burning through a lot of ammo. But today I got a lucky break and made a lot of my PED's back on a single hunt.
Also you have to remember you're still a low level character. You may be losing PED's on the ammo you burn, but you are also gaining a LOT of skills which will allow you to be a more successful hunter later if you hold out until then. It takes money to make money, is what I'm saying. To be successful in any profession in Entropia you need to invest, and that means having some bad hunts. But also learning as you go along and getting better at it.

I've allocated about 100 more PEDs toward ammo, and I'm currently 'beginner' in laser weapons. And I haven't cashed in any of the loot I've got so far, which was about 10 TT

I have full Pixie armor spent maybe a total of 7-8 ped on mining attempts and gear.
Bought a Mann MPH which I used until I moved up to a Breer P1A and I use the Sollomate Opallo.
And ammo.

Before you sell anything in the TT check the markup on each item. If something is under 120% markup I just sell it in the TT but thats because I'm not patient enough to look for a seller or use the auction for the small bonus.

Using the Oppalo at Aloode I bought 5 ped of ammo. Shot it all. Sold the loot for 2 ped.
I scouted out a few drone areas, a really good one is just north of Jason Centre

Now I've been dealing with these before, and if we're 4-5 people even with sollomato opalo's or other starter weapons, Drone Generation 01 are doable, and Drone Generation 02 are pretty hard, generation 03 is still a nono though unless we all get Shogun armor(and better weapons), which isn't advisable this early on.
Though we could get together and go drone hunting, as the drones drop quite a nice amount of loot. (Don't use normal armor such as pixie here, because drones do Burn damage, which means it would just needlessly tax your armor.)

Oh cool. Good thing my armor is pretty good against drones.
Also I recommend explorer armor over Shogun. Explorer is pretty much the best newbie armor against drones. Shogun is around 200PED and is an all-around armor. You're paying that much because it protects you really well, but thats too much protection for a new player.
If you guys do go drone hunting that'd be a nice way to bail out of this hell hole I'm stuck in now south of Twin Peaks. Drones everywhere.
This game is incredibly hard to get into without investing.
There is such a steep curve before you can start becoming self-sufficient in game.
It's a good game, but that's my biggest issue with it.

Many ppl in-game say it is not a game, but a casino, and these people spend about 500$ a mouth.
And you likely got more luck in a real casino.
