Forget the helicopter, you don't need it. And the hovercraft is definitely one of the cheaper vehicles, but that doesn't mean it's economic.
I like my hovercraft though - It's pretty cheap to fill and it lasts a long time before running dry. It saves me a lot of time while hunting too, as I am able to jump in and search for more patches of monsters. A land vehicle is a time saver more than anything else.
It's also pretty handy when you get attacked by a strong mob and you're going to die. You can jump in and drive away like a coward :smile:

how much does the hovercraft cost, where can you easely see the prices? (the entropedia is kinda odd I find)

It's the best land vehicle because it can go on water and also slide down steep mountains safely. The only downside is it's low on power, so sometimes you will struggle to get up steep hills.
Hovercraft is around 50PED in the auction.

If anyone wants to go hunting btw I'm willing to spend atleast 10 PED on ammo for my Opalo.
It's kind of disappointing that planetary vehicles are just that, time savers when you go hunting or mining or some activity in the wilderness

Spend 8 on your Opalo and 2 on your handgun. Switch to your handgun to finish monsters for extra skill increases.

There is a edit desktop button up at the top right of your screen. Click on that, and you will get a menu where you can access your keyboard layout. Open that up, then go to your inventory and drag your weapons to different keys. Best way to go is the 1-9 buttons.
Haha I remember playing this game when it was still running on the old engine, looked like ass. Couldn't really get into it though, it seems that without actually investing in this game, you won't get very far unless you've got an entire life to waste. But I might try to pick it up again.

That's all you'll ever need. Back in 04, you used unlimited mindpower to sweat and you never needed to do much else. I'm pretty sure they'll keep it that way.

Around 20PED, some of it is leveled too.
Got my starting gear from Omak, time to hunt a bit!

I'd advise to hunt with a friend or two, or more even. But solo works too I guess!
Where are you guys starting out hunting solo? I hunt the punies around north of PA and those acid spitting mobs, can't really hunt anything else as far as I'm aware without dying.
