The one I went to was called Lumidium District (might have got the spelling wrong). Maybe Xavith knows where it is
Btw Xavith, is there still a big group of people there? I came by earlier and saw some people were partying or something haha
We just went to Nea's Camp and didn't see hardly anyone. Perhaps they are on at a different time.
Yeah the place used to be packed back when I played, don't know if it's because people have gone to other popular sites or it's just because of the time, as it's 5am here where I am.
Sometimes they run further out from the teleporter to find mobs.
You should try Lumidium. I was there earlier and there were around 20 people when I left.
yeah I asked around a bit, Limnadian is the "new" sweat camp, some people still prefer Nea's but most are at Limnadian now, I'll fly you guys to Limnadian sometime, if you need it.
Question, do ships like the VTOL need fuel to function? And if so, how much PED does it cost?
They use Oil cost is about 1ped for 100 units if you buy in huge quantities though some sell like 500 units for a 7ped or so.
This is the route I took to Nea's place from Treasure Island City

it used up like 30-40 units of oil, so the fuel consumption isn't that big.
Wait... So if you buy 100 units it's 1PED, but if you buy in large quantities (which is supposed to come cheaper) it becomes 500 units for 7PED instead of 5PED or less?

no you'd probably have to buy 100 units for a larger price 2-3ped or so. 10000 units would normally sell for 101ped or so at a 100%-105% markup

Sounds like theres profit to be made.
Going to give this a go, any first off tips?

oh there is, but keep in mind there's competition as well as a fee for using the auction house(around 0.50 ped or something). But if you're good with economy, you could play the market in this game.
edit: @ Contag The biggest and strongest weapons aren't always the best, start small and learn before you invest any huge amounts money.

Been playing WoW's auction house for years.
pay 15 bucks, no really, it seems like if you don't pay, don't bother unless you want to spend 1 week and 12 hours a day pressing autotool
I am ok with this. Mostly because I have nothing but time for a couple of weeks before school starts back up.
So I decided to try to make some money off transportation ie 3peds to Limnadia and 6ped to Twin Peaks(trade hub) I can carry up to 6 passengers at a time which is quite nice.

Facepunch members gets a few free rides though :D

How much time do you input to get to that point?
How much time do you input to get to that point?
Honestly, not much, all it requires is for you to be ready. You just need about a 100-120 ped for the actual craft, then another 20 ped for the fuel, and you should learn the mechanics, do some research on how stuff works with vehicles. Then you should be ready to start transporting people.
Note: You should be very careful with flying mobs, when driving around, as they'll be able to take you down, which would be quite expensive to fix afterwards.
We could gather all FPers on Calypso and go hunting or sweating or something
This "Sweating" term makes me feel like you go out and make animals run and you get their actual sweat
Kinda grosses me out

Produced from real live Pocari, forced to run on treadmills for most of their short, miserable lives.
Poor animals.
What is this, I redownloaded the game yesterday and played for the rest of the day, today I wake up early and feel like sweating for a while, I launch the launcher and all the content I had downloaded has disappeared and it's downloading again... :wtc:
There's a new patch coming out http://www.entropiauniverse.com/bulletin/release-notes/
Still waiting for my bank to release the "Give me my god damn card, i've been waiting for a month now" patch.
I see you're from Norway, I assume you're getting the visa intro card? Make sure that it's enabled for online purchases, some of the banks are really bitchy about that, if you're under 18.
Also guys I have a proposition, I could ferry up to 6 of you around calypso to get the teleports around the map. Though flying all around calypso would be quite taxing on the fuel, but say 50pec or 250 sweat from each, up to a total of 6. That should cover the expenses, and it might be a bit fun flying around the scenery and chatting together. Maybe do a bit of hunting or something similar together afterwards.
Hit agree if you might be interested, and we'll set a date afterwards.
I'd be interested, though I am less than low ranked (still downloading client)

Liar! I believed you too!
The reference to sweat in the name of the beverage tends to have a certain offputting or humorous connotation for native English speakers. However, the name was chosen by the manufacturers originally for the purpose of marketing the product as a sports drink in Japan,[2] where people generally do not mentally translate names appearing in English and are therefore not bothered by the connotation. It was largely derived from the notion of what it is intended to supply to the drinker: all of the nutrients and electrolytes lost when sweating.[3][4]
The first part of the name, Pocari, does not have any meaning; the word was coined for its light bright sound.[5]
My avatar is a conventionally attractive Caucasian woman - will this increase my chances of getting money from begging?
