Which armor set is the best to begin with? I haven't played a long time so yeah :v:
Pixie is good against lots of things
Sweat is so hard to sell right now for a decent price. It's incredible frustrating having 4K sweat just lying in your inventory.
100ped quadwing you say, brb buying one.
5.4 profit (didn't sell it yet) with mining using rookie finder yay. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] 7.08 if I would get the full markup. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] no I calculated wrong, it's 7.92 PED profit :dance:
What's the USD -> PED?
I can't believe people are still playing this game.
And I already stopped again, realised why I stopped the time before too...
I still play off and on, just trying to be careful and amass a load of money so I can try to make some form of good profit.
What's the USD -> PED?
1 USD = 10 PED
what is this? is it fun?
what is this? is it fun?
No, it isn't. I'm being serious.
What is a good clan/guild to join for starters? (active)
man i remember playing this in 2006-07 just reinstalled it again to see if it was any better now and i have to say i was reluctant to use my rep edge on something but when i killed a few random low level monsters and having about 3-4 loot windows come up it perked up my interest
The loot windows are the best thing about this game to be honest
The loot windows are the best thing about this game to be honest
yeah but at least they come up more often than when i last played even if they do drop crap
If you guys hate this game so much, why still post in the thread?
you make money for playing
You're lucky if you break even. Also, have fun waiting 3 months from the day you withdrew the money to the day you actually get them.
You're lucky if you break even. Also, have fun waiting 3 months from the day you withdrew the money to the day you actually get them.
All you have to do is buy sweat for 1.60 PED/K then make mind essence and overprice the fuck out of it! BOOM! Profit, have fun.
Nice to see Entropia discussion on other forum outside the usual MA endorsed forums. And sounds maybe as a silly remark: a soc that uses same language in soc chat. It sucks when you cant. You would be surprised how many socs DONT talk english in the group. Cheers, Roni
This thread is basically dead as a door nail. Almost everyone who reads it just tries to actively discourage people from playing. At least someone gives it effort, though.
graphics and music was nice id love to play a game like this in singleplayer or without the pay2win system
This thread is basically dead as a door nail. Almost everyone who reads it just tries to actively discourage people from playing. At least someone gives it effort, though.
The game has it's pros and cons. When friends ask me if they should join I say: yes....you should. Start for free with some newcomers missions so you get the basic idea of the inworld mechanics. Maybe do a little deposit afterwards if you like it...let's say 10$. But if you want to go on serious skilling be prepared that it will get expensive. Here some thumb rules I use. *don't expect to get rich easy. It just wont happen unless you are prepared to heavely invest in virtual real estate. *don't expect to get rich with hunting. You can play it as eco as possible yes but general returns will hardly exceed 90% of what you deposited. *use a bank roll system: sell items with good market value (Mark Up) and use profit to hunt or mine new materials and offer those on the market too (like auction) Try to avoid Trade Terminal, here you will only get the value Mind Ark has set *don't approach it as a slot machine...it will behave like that if you do. Dont go chase globals and HoFs....hunt or mine materials that are interesting for the market. The globals will come anyway. Dont be fooled with globals in chat window...thats Mind Ark ads...nothing less, nothing more *the hardest part: built up a good relationship with traders and crafters. Both will benefit. *do a thorough research..knowledge is money here. Finding a good mentor can save the day So why do I keep playing? Im amazed by the community. Maybe Entropia isnt big like WoW (which is a real game, EU isnt really) but the community is mature and has some amazingly talented people. Most experienced Entropians are willing to help a newcomer starting with getting teleporters, advise or even some basic equipment. Way back it was doable playing for free by sweating and selling your sweat. When I started, thats over 2 years ago now, I could sell it for 5-6 Ped per k. These days it hardly goes for 2 PED.....if you find a buyer. MA is very quiet n this subject but my best assasment is that this way of participating is not....uhm...encouraged. And I think for the following reasons: *only players buy sweat from other players as the TT value is next to zero *players buying sweat cannot spend that money on items or materials what will make profit for MA *there was a sweat nerf so the market is pretty much saturated *some players have prolly harvested a lot in the past *MA introduced light mind essence, made of looted diluted sweat used for field heal chips *MA introduced synthetic mind essence for heal and elec attack chip, cheap at Trade Terminal *Mind Essence (sweat+Nexus Force) is restricted to teleporter and synch chips *introduction of vehicles made teleport chip less popular and is way cheaper *sweating doesnt involve decay! The last remark mind sound strange. But here is where the money is for MA....DECAY. Your tool, weapon, armor...it all decays (sometimes at a weird speed IMHO) so you either you have to repair your items or buy replacement. unlimited tools or weapons which can be repaired sounds like the best deal but in my experience limited items (they cant be repaired and will break down eventually) are most economic. Cheers, Roni
The only reason I'm not playing is because I keep forgetting to buy PED. I legitimately like this game.
