Alright, fuck it. I'm giving this game a try. Can I get a summary of these questions? -How is the community? -Sweating, why is it called sweating? And rather, do you collect sweat or just kill shit? -Can I get an estimate at how long it'd take me to get proper gear to get money "quickly" on my own if I only sweat around? -Can someone give me PED? (Not a serious question but wouldn't mind some!)

I Agreed to the trip post, but I think it's better to post about it. So when it's planned, sign me up for it if you please. :) Also, is anyone playing atm?

I have 30 vibrant sweat, what can I do with it?

Alright so I downloaded it, made my character and went to Calypso. The game looks amazing on my rig. 1920x1080 Resolution with generally high settings. Now to waste a whole year getting a bunch of sweat!

However, Vibrant Sweat goes for a good amount of PED for F2P people. Keep in mind however, that 1000 Vibrant Sweat is usually about 2.2 PED. So you aren't exactly getting top dollar.

So I just bought $10 worth to PED and got some armor, a rifle, and some fist thingy. What should I do now?

(Not a serious question but wouldn't mind some!)[/QUOTE] -The community is 95% adults, my society (guild) leader even has kids. -Sweating is basically running around collecting sweat from mobs, its much easier and profitable if you get to one of the popular sweating areas, where people just stand in circle around a high level mob and auto sweat it. -Long, getting 1000 sweat with a sweating group can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, 1000 sweat sells for about 2.5 PED -Being a real money trade game, i wouldn't expect any handouts, but someone might be willing to give you a lift to a popular sweating area.

Im stuttering like hell, Any help? I've got a decent set up and I max just cause 2, I dont mind playing this on low settings but even then i stutter.

It's good to see so many of you learning the game. Theres no way I could answer all these questions alone, and now some of you have learned enough to start giving advice to even newer players :smile: So are we still all meeting up at 1700 entropia time? I've already purchased enough equipment for the trip. I will be the "protection" I suppose since I have several guns and a good set of armor. I'm also a training paramedic. Glad to hear I'm not alone with the issue. So I've done the hunting tutorial, it seems pretty smooth. I also found 6,8k Explosive Ammo in a herbivore. what

how long would it take before you can do other things than sweating?

without depositing, quite a bit, you could do both "Swunting" where you get together with some people, you sweat a mob until it's out, then kill it with the beginner weapons. which should only require maybe a 2-4k sweat to get before starting out

We're hoping to start that trip 7 hours from now. If you can come It'd be great if you posted to let us know :smile:

I can gather swear, cool. Problem is.. the mob attacks me mostly. I can't defend myself as both my L weapons are broken either so..well I'm fucked aren't I?

..How does dying give you skills? At what, dying less humiliatingly?

Ah, true. I gained stuff like Evasion and all when they attacked me.

What is smarter: staying in the gate once done with all missions or go to port atlantis. And is it smarter to save your weapons for sweating or just use them up before? [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] What do you loose when you die

I check the market value for Explosive Ammo but I can't exactly figure it out. If it says "Day", does it mean that I can get 9k PED for 6,8k Ammo today or that it's been sold for that much today? An estimate is about 450 PED for it is my second guess.
