if you missed it don't worry, we only got one quarter of the route done, I'll post an update screenie with our route. We will do another trip, and hopefully we'll be a bit more organized this time. We've also got a few more confirmed pilots as well.

Sima, what can you tell me about the hunting profession? I'm quite curious, because hunting or store management is something I would seek for myself. I know most of the information I'm requesting I can find on my own, but I just need some quick information from a longtime player like yourself.
How easy is it to get into hunting, exactly?
Alright first Facepunch Expedition started with some difficulties, but was sorted out afterwards.
Here I have another fancy map.
Red was the original route we were set to take.
Green was the route the first Facepunch Expedition took.

Blue will be the route the second Facepunch Expedition will take. The second expedition will be lots of fun hopefully, we'll start at Port Atlantis, and head off to a new route. We will most likely need a few more pilots as well, seeing as we ended up requiring some of us to switch to Vtols to carry a few people. In this run we will go by the yellow circle to the east, now this place is really interesting. This area is a PvP area, there will be players with vehicles... with... guns, and lots of them. The area is referred to as "the oil rig" this is because in the middle there is an oil pump, that randomly drop a certain amount of oil every 15/20ish minutes. Which tend to be heavily contested.
My plan though is to head in there with the chopper and a bunch of facepunchers derping around in chat while we try to avoid getting hammered, hopefully we'll be a decent distraction so Tifa(a high lvl friend of mine) can possibly take out some of them, if not all. What to expect: Death, my chopper sploding, and maybe more death, and a hell of a lot fun.
Now a date I don't know when will be a good time for you guys, but let's give it a bit more time now shall we, let's say Friday 17:30 Entropia time. Hopefully maybe we can get a teamspeak or ventrilo server up(I think I might have a 10slot one actually :v:)

If you have a start capital of say a 100 ped, I would suggest starting out with a Sollomato Opalo, Vivo T1, both located in the trade terminal. I would buy a full pixie armor set from another player, check prices before you buy though, as some players might try to scam you. Then buy some ammo, then go north of port atlantis a bit, and start killing.
The starting point of hunting can be quite tedious, and you won't see much returns early on, (when you start reaching 2k skill in your weapon, you will start to see some kind of improvement and bigger loot.) In regards of making money, I would say trading and playing the market would be better(this also require a much larger start capital), for more fun and PvP, I would say hunting gives you a decent boost in both. Or alternatively if you're really good at trading, and you get some extra PEDs then you could use that to fund your hunting.
Though a very strong point: DO NOT attempt to use weapons above your skill lvl, you will miss most of the time and you will be burning PEDs really quick, and you won't gain half of it back.
I know for sure I'll be buying a Hovercraft, fill it up with Oil and start styling and profiling.

What level mobs do you recommend attacking?

I once played entropia many moons ago. I have sweat my ass off and have almost one PED. I do therefore ask of you community, what has changed in the past two years, and how should I start anew.

I would say up to 4-5 max you might be able to do lvl 6+ but, this will be bad economically because the mob regenerates a certain amount of hp per 5 seconds or so.

Vehicles are very accessable right now and not too expensive if you invest a bit into it(150ish ped). You could start ferrying people around the continent for some cash(I'd recommend the chopper, because it can carry up to 6 people), when you're ready, I would also get a Sleipnir and upgrade it with booster rockets(around 200 ped I think? not sure), and ferry people up into space, where I would recommend only going from planet->station, and not to other planets, as you might have trouble facing pirates.
