In Garry's mod when suddenly kids shouted into the microphone with a high pitched voice :ohdear:
When I watched my friend play Splatterhouse 3 on the sega genesis when I was just a wee lad. That shit was terrifying.

For one I actually played, Shadow Tower and the sand leeches creeping through the tunnel towards you, their ten dozen jagged teeth pointed outwards. Yeesh.
I just finished Penumbra: Black Plague today... that was fucking scary.
Under the sea: Mysterious Edition
those sharks.... THOSE FUCKING SHARKS!
And that sea monster.... OH MY GDODDDD
Half Life in the parts with the sharks.
:ohdear:
Granted I was 6 at the time, but still.
Running away from the glowy antlion guard in ep2.
My heart rate always increases as I hear it running up from behind me just as I jump into the cave opening.
Afraid of monsters as a whole was probably the most scariest fucking experience I ever had.
And I played a freaking load of horror games.
For me,

It was going so well and I was so calm, and then that bitch shows up.
Call me a pussy but every time I saw a wall mine in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, if you go out of sync with the lights or you move too fast, that explosion is so abrupt and loud that even if I saw it coming I would always jolt back. It was way worse when I turned a corner and DIDN'T see it. :ohdear:
I found Oblivion to be tense in the caves.
The music didn't help either. :saddowns:
Penumbra.
I pretty much shit my pants that whole entire week.
Yes, i can't even push myself to go through this hallway, cause i know somethings there.
Aliens vs predator 2 always fucking creeped me out, Not knowing when that facehugger was gonan Fucking one second instant kill ya, Those bodies on the wall....Also time to mention Comdemed..Oh man..Those Mannquins in that store...oh NO..SAVE ME
I shit myself the first time I was pushed down the escalator in Condemned. I had cleared the entire area and thought I was safe. Oh god I was so wrong. I think that's the first scary game I enjoyed.
Exactly what I was going to post, I was sure something would get me at the bottom, didn't think I'd get it from the top.
Vampire: The Masquerade, that fucking mnasion.
The part in Bioshock where the dentist blinds you for a moment then you turn around and BAM he's drilling your face.
Okay don't hate, but the first time I played Dear Esther and I was walking behind a shed and a fucking bird just flew right out in front of me, I shat multiple times.
When he first added mobs to minecraft, I opened up one of my castles in survival mode, explored my world a bit, killed a few zombies, and then as SOON as I took down my castle door I was faced with 3 exploding creepers :ohdear: .
Thief 3.
Shalebridge Cradle.
'Nuff said.
and then Kingo64's balls grew three sizes that day..
Actually it took me a 2 days to complete that level. Nothing has ever scared me since.
[editline]01:00AM[/editline]
also the first time I went to Agroprom Underground in STALKER.
Fucking Bloodsucker.
The first time I played minecraft indev when I finished building my house and I turn around and a creeper gets me.
When you [sp]turn on the light[/sp] in the room full of writing on the walls in Penumbra: Overture.
The sewers level in Serious Sam freaked me out quite a bit when I was a kid.
I also hated the swimming parts in Quake 2.
More recently, the school locker and hallucinations in Condemned: Criminal Origins.
Oblivion's and Morrowind's caves, darker levels in Half-Life 2 or zombies that randomly pop out of nowhere. It's not hard to make me shit my pants :(.
I find that things get a lot less scary with a nice melee weapon. specially a crowbar.
When pyramid head chases you around in the labyrinth in Silent Hill 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R first time playing, came upon a bloodsucker village and barely got out alive... I wasn't that good at the game and tried to rush attack them, ending up in a huge fight, with me firing randomly. My heart was beating so fast, and I could barely breath. Hate bloodsuckers so much. :(
Blue Shift.
When I saw that vort when I was in the elevator, I bashed the computer frantically until it shut down.
I was young.
Vampire: The Masquerade, that fucking mnasion.
I remember that place. I couldn't go on until the next day. However, the part that scared me the most, was when a fucking tricycle came out of nowhere and killed me! I now have a phobia of tricycles.
The hotel level in Hitman: Contracts.
Where you could picklock your way to the haunted corridor where a ghost would appear in front of you. There were also a mirror which you could see a ghost in, and when you turned around it was gone.
Shit almost gave me a heart attack.
And the Heavy Rain DLC; The Taxidermist, which was really suspenseful and had my adrenaline rushing.
Dead Space was also really scary during certain levels, especially during the level with all the ritual-scientology-bullshit with candles and alien writings on the walls and plastic bags over the dead guys' heads.
